I always clone with the held item if I have it. So yes, you'll get a PP Max on every Meloetta.

When you clone the meloettas, will the PPMax I left on Meloetta get cloned as well? I'd like clones or my original back, some extra PPMaxes would be nice too if those clone with her :D Maybe one of mine (original or clone, preference for original if you have no preference for either) and one a clone of your wifi one with the known good stats :D

There, you have been Jirachi-ed. :D If you want Meloetta clones, I'll be happy to make them, or I can even give your original plus a clone of one or two of mine (particularly my Wifi one, I know those stats are good).

If you want all four, I'll just do them one at a time rather than giving three options. That way you know they're in order. They will come W, E, C, A based on the list earlier. I'll take the Meloetta, sure, but if you want clones those won't be tonite. :)

All right. All four Jirachi are in there. All have their Berry. Let's do this.

I have them in the order you noted. I'll put up W, then E, then C. If you want the second, I'll put up the first two again, then A. I don't have any Meloetta clones with me ATM, but we can reconnect if you want me to send clones (and likely the original) of your Meloetta back. We don't have to do that tonite as the AR isn't a 3DS one (the system I would be using), so we can do that another time since I'll swap it to Black to clone NEway.

So, the Jirachi are all on W2. They are cloned in SS and I've retained the clones. Basically, I'll keep the inventory of nine in there for Jirachi needs of whoever, so it's possible yours will be duplicated somewhere (no biggie, they can't go in Wifi battling IIRC). :)

I will probably take another hour - I'm doing another job site refresh since some come in later in the evening on this site (it takes them from a bunch of other sites to make searching easier). I should send off one or two applications this evening, I feel. Will do one now, then off to the games again to equip Berries (I have cloned eight for now, nine total including the original, leaves me a quintet).

So yeah...next thing I'll do is plug in W2 (I'll also remove the AR from Black eventually), trade Jirachi W for Jirachi E, attach a Berry, dance again to trade E for C, Berry, then C for A, one more Berry. I then will send it back one last time, but have to find something to trade back from W2. That DW Gothirita might be a good candidate for cloning! :D

Bonus for me, I have a high-IV Squirtle with Pokérus sent as the carrier. Not complaining about that! :D This was from the Lv.100 cart. and, it seems, it's fully EV trained at 84 EVs per stat, nothing under a 27 for IVs. Not sure if it's RNG or regular chance, but all I care about ATM is the Berry. :D Cloning it (and a Jirachi) now. ;)

Berry acquired. All I have to do is change systems and clone it again before doing some Union Room dancing to get a Berry into everyone's hands. Still need a little time to do that, but very close now to getting the trade done. :D (And I also have the Leichi Berries for future Jirachi trades!)

Haha, no worries. I will indeed be saying goodbye to many of the Jirachi in there, though I might generate some more or keep them available for a future request. ;)

They cannot be nicknamed without the use of a cheat. Here's what I mean by that: I could nickname them even changing their name to lower-case (i.e. "Jirachi"), but doing that makes it an illegal Pokémon. Because it's an Event with a special OT/ID, and not your own, it cannot legally be renamed.

I did use that code once when cloning a Thundurus that came from someone's "White" game; the recipient preferred no nickname, so I removed it by nicknaming it its species name (since you can't just delete a nickname).

BTW, that also means JIRACHI will always appear in capitals.

UPDATE, AN HOUR LATER:

Just looking for the Liechi Berry trade now. Still have to clone some Berries and shuffle in and out of the Union Room to get one into each Jirachi's hands. Cloning the Berries in Black, then trading the Jirachi's back to W2 after giving each one of the cloned Berries.

Yeah, I agreed on W being the winner (and yeah, I'm keeping a clone for myself). I thought Q might make your list as well; I was surprised you chose A and C over it.

I'll be on Wifi later this evening; going to be doing a trade to obtain a Liechi Berry before actually trading the Jirachi. That way, it's technically "complete". Have to remember to clone it before trading, as well. :D

Just got real dark suddenly. Is it evening already? Wow, must be a bad storm out there.

I think the "bad egg" came about because I kept the buttons held down while asking for those two. I don't really want to test that right now, so I'm not going to run that as a test. As long as one just presses the buttons and lets them go before talking to the deliveryman, it comes out correct. And once it comes out as an actual Jirachi, it's bug-free, nothing can go wrong with it. The "bad eggs" did claim to be Jirachi when received, as well, which is why I think holding down the buttons was the cause of the problem.

lol the pokemon bachelorette. Okay, I'll wait for the letter assignment...and wow that one you shared was pretty bad hehe. The fact some are coming up bad eggs has me a bit worried. My son ended up with a bad egg from one of the trades he made with a friend, but it didn't happen immediately. He's only traded with us in his White and White 2 games but one of the pokemon he moved over from SS turned into a bad egg. He just logged into his White game one day and said "Um...mommy? What's a bad egg for?" I had to go researching it lol. And apparently you can't get rid of them? Sorry for being a nervous Nelly. If having another legit Meloetta doesn't matter all that much to you, I think I'll just trade her long enough for you to clone, if you don't mind? If you're looking forward to her though, I'll still come through with my end of the deal for all the work you're doing. I honestly do appreciate it, bad eggs and all, I just don't want to move any to X or Y later and end up stuck with a bad egg that might freeze my game...and no Jirachi :P
