I happened to have my Gengar with Sludge Bomb (Fairy Weakness obviously), hence when the Gardivour went all-out Mega as a last resort, I used a Sludge Bomb on it. And that was it.
I certainly do agree it's quite easy. However, the beauty of Pokemon games for me is the opportunity to raise my all-time favorite critters, and with the new breeding mechanics it surely encourages us to go for what we call as the "perfect" Pok'emon.
Well, this certainly might not be the biggest issue for some, however I find the inability to switch and use the running shoes with the analog stick after you have received your skates quite bothersome. Besides that I have yet to find a more prodigious disappointment .
Turtwig, and let's see, Woobat, AND Emolga :D Extra cuteness to Turtwig, but then again, I am quite biased when it comes to comparing Turtwig's cuteness with other Pok'emon.

There still might be a couple more legendaries at which I haven't thrown a single Pok'eball yet, but the above Pok'emon are the ones which I remember at this present time.
Caves D: It was an absolute nightmare with random encounters popping here and there! I also remember avoiding the cemetery, the music of that city itself sort of freaked me out back then for some funny reason.
It was Zapdos for me, and it was the first legendary I caught in a Pok'emon game (Blue). Remained as the main "shocker" of my team until I'd stopped playing Blue.
In my opinion, I think Pok'emon is growing, with the introduction and release of the X & Y versions it has opened the door and has laid out the path for alot of newer mechanics and ideas for the future Pok'emon games! I am certain Game Freak will remain amusing the older generation and newer...
