Sorry if this has been asked before,but according to the Legendary guide you can catch Regigigas before you beat the E4 and after you get the 8 badges.But whenever I try to engage him at the ring path rather than a battle it gives me text about him being a "tree" ^^ Any help?

I used Shadow Ball to get him down to the yellow zone before slowly hacking away at him with my Alakazam. Once I got him down to deep red I used hypnosis and started chucking red balls, at a capture rate of 3 its really down to luck.

I concur with the above,some people just make it too easy. I'd rather "white out" and grind through the game than have it finished in under 4 hours because someone decided that my starter was a lvl100 Cyndaquil.

I simply can't play R/B/Y anymore, the graphics make me cringe. I completed Gold again yesterday, it's fun but over too quickly. Really once I got Ampharos , Ho-Oh and a Feraligatr with Icy Wind and nevermeltice to lvl 42 nothing was a challenge. Obviously I didn't go for Red with those levels...
