I'll also tell you a few things about myself:

My favorite pokemon are Absol, Flygon, Latios and Latias, and Floatzel. I also like Garchomp, but it's so ridiculously overused. I still use it sometimes, but now that it's Uber, I don't really get many chances to battle with it.

I can relate to you on the sarcasm and criticism, I hate it when people try to be smart and tell you what to do. It's your life, why should you listen to somebody else? But I do like helpful criticism that actually teaches you something.

Yes, that may well be true, but to keep in with what we were discussing ~ the people who posted on your fic, with their comments and whatnot, they were only trying to help you improve the quality of your work.

Please don't be discouraged. Your fic was amazing (I see it's closed now), but if you take on-board what people were suggesting and apply it, I'm sure it wil do a lot better if you decide to try again ^^

It's oakies to get annoyed at times, but just remember that these people are just trying to help you improve the quality of your writing... I know folk can be hard at times, but did let it get you down because, at the end of the day, they have good intentions at heart ^^

Don't worry so much about criticism, even if it is heavy and disheartening ~ always remember two things:

1. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if you or someone else doesn't agree with it.

2. They're only trying to help you. Take on-board all comments you receive and you'll keep them on-board as readers, you know?

Oh, I had the same problem when I first wanted to put a YouTube video on my profile.
Once you open up your UserCP->Edit Your Details->Scroll down to where it says, "YouTube URL," you must paste the embeded link to the video there.
(That's located right underneath the "URL" in the Youtube interface.)
