I remember I found the bonus disc for Colosseum at K Mart on Clearance for 5 dollars. With that you could download the event Jirachi. Later on I sold the disc on Ebay (after they got discontinued) for about 50 bucks. I did the same thing with Pokemon Box. You could only get it in Pokemon Center NYC. Bought it for 20 there and then sold it on Ebay a few years later for 150 bucks because it got discontinued.

And I 100000% recommend Pokemon XD. It's probably my favorite Pokemon game, even ahead of the main series games. It's that good.

It has a special place in my heart. Every time I would feel depressed, I'd play through the story again and feel a little better :)

Just the Hoenn pokedex but I had probably half of the national one done too, just from transferring stuff I liked from my Leafgreen and Pokemon Colosseum/XD.

It was an accident that I had so many Pokemon in the Dex. I never said 'I'm gonna complete the dex!' I would just catch and train stuff I thought was cool and I did it so much that my dex almost got filled up o_O I would see a Pokemon in the anime on Saturday mornings (back in the day, lol) and be like 'Oh that's cool!' and catch and train one in my Sapphire. I had like 500 hours logged on that cartridge alone.

I've taken a hiatus from my TCG because of that. All the new stuff came out and my stuff is close to obsolete, and I'm saving my money for more important stuff than card games :P

The closest I came to completing the Pokedex was in Sapphire, I only needed Crobat, Regice and Feebas/Milotic. For Crobat, my 12 year old self was too impatient for friendship evo. Regice I literally tried to catch for years and never could >.> and Feebas/Milotic were a pain because of the whole 'they only appear on 1 square' gimmick. Needless to say I never completed my Pokedex >.<

I mean guns, we've been there and done that but swords?! Now that's a whole different level!! I played MGS 2 but it wasn't anything special.......... I like the character of Vic Boss very much!! The tattoo!! Peace walker was THE definition of awesome!!

I understand that feeling. The thing with these types of games is that almost every time new cards come out you need to buy new ones to update your deck and such. And that costs money. Well, I guess the people who make them have to have a living too I suppose lol xD

Both the Pokemon TCG and YuGiOh confuse the heck out of me now. I used to play them back when I was like 9 but now I completely forget how to play them and when I see people playing I have no clue what's going on xD

I'm sure you'll get better with practice :) I sucked at the TCG I play when I first started, now I'm probably the best out of all my friends >.> I don't mean to sound arrogant but I beat them more than they beat me xP

Yeah, I figured it was a pretty normal thing to feel. Being around all those low life perverts on that other forum didn't help my feelings/self esteem either, but hey, that's in the past now.

And no, I don't play MtG, but it's not something I'd be opposed to learning since I already like card games :)

Yesssss!!! A correct assumption!!! I have played 2, 3, Peace walker and Portable ops. Have you tried Metal Gear Rising? The trailer was awesome!
