Um, there is a problem with the o/ws. Joao asked me to do them FRLG style... and i hate that style. I just can't do them. Plus, i was busy with my own project. Which isn't going well.

You know much about this, heh. It's true.

Most people go idolizing on me on most of the small forums I go, and I rarely get any good C+C. With good C+C I mean critique that actually helps you, instead of pointing out the small details. So far, for me, TSR's been the best place to get serious crits all around, but since Ive been recently doing pokemans, I though I might join PC. It's why I came.
(And to learn how to rom hack)

Id recommend you GIMP for animations btw. You can make gifs through layers, and easily edit them.

But I think I have enough though; 2 trees, a Pokecenter, 3 objects and 4 walking sets of overworld chars, along with a scratch sprite..

The harsh cycle is true, yeah. Especially when making lenghty animation frames.

And yeah, I have definetly been a target by rom hackers before.. (In this forum too, and I haven't even posted any sprites..lol.) But even then, I'll be making my OW tiles in a personal style of mine, which is something a bit too detailed to blend correctly with standard pokemon graphics; so hopefully it may help get a few people off my back. :)

I could post my progress, but I fear it's not good enough on the quantity size yet.

I have a few proyects of my own, but they are just for experimenting issues and such.. Some others are just small hacks, for the sole purpose of putting my sprites in games.

I could say im free of proyects right now, yeah.

And yeah, I think you should all wait for me to post my spritework before judjing me as a spriter, as those two were just quickies, heh. :p
Im working on a tileset as of now, and have some stuff done already.

And, spriting program you say? Well.. I personally use paint for everything too, so I might not be of help here. Spriting is to be done manually by the artist instead of the program, so I cant think of any advantages any program could offer.

Obviously you do. I meant it more like, "Pretty much anyone can figure it out, so I'm sure you would do just fine." XD

Uh.. no, you don't have to make awards. The winner's entry and name are posted in the Contest Hall of Fame thread. There was also talk of an emblem for contest winners, but that hasn't happened yet. The winner of January's contest was supposed to have their entry used as the emblem image, but the winner was never decided.

But yeah, your main responsibility would just be judging. You are also allowed to have other judges, as long as they know what they're doing, but this isn't really necessary, contests have been relatively slow lately.

All you need to do is get a mod's permission... Fox♠ will probably respond faster.. then you just pick a theme, and start the thread. (You can just copy/paste the rules I wrote, if you want.) Then you should check the entries every couple days, to make sure that they are acceptable and don't break the rules. And once the contest is done, just pick which you think is best, and write a little bit of constructive criticism (With a little constructive praise thrown in, especially if it's nearly flawless) about each entry... well, at least 1st - 3rd.

It's really not that difficult if you know a little bit about spriting. :D

Ademas, para mi, es algo facil hablar en espanol (mi gramatica no es perfecto, pero... es no me importa). Y de tu, ?Por cuantos anos estudiabas esa idioma en tu escuela?
