Story: You are a citizen of a large city named Balice controlled by organized crime, police are unable to do anything about the crime, they have counted the city a loss, and now the current police force only exist as a corrupted system to keep other criminals from usurping the mobs power. The mobsters keep control by using superior firepower, Pokemon trained to kill, and the sale of drugs and illegal alcohols to the citizens of the city. The people have grown sick of the violence, the death, the pain and suffering the criminal mobsters have inflicted upon the city, they are now doing what the police believe to be impossible
They are going to bring down the mob.
Your role:
You are one of the citizens who has been deemed ready, willing, and able to deal with the mobsters directly. You will be supplied with weapons and given a series of jobs to be performed under the guidance of your leader, George Fremont. Be prepared to fight well-armed mobsters who have made a living on the pain, suffering, and death of others.

Personality: A high-end guy with connections all around and the city under his thumb. He is extremely aggressive, extremely smart, and extremely deadly. This is the man who runs the city from the biggest office of the highest tower in the city of Balice. He attacks problems of all sizes with extreme[and often unnecessary] force.
History: Born in the city of Balice he has spent his entire life withing the cities confines. He married when he was 24 and spent sixteen years with her, bearing a son[Now age 17] and a daughter[Kidnapped at age three, believed dead]. Alex [refers to self as Al] didn't even show any mob affiliation until he was 28, but he quickly climbed through the ranks, stopped only by his wife's death when Al was 40. Soon a year after Al's wife's death he was made the mob leader and the town has gone to hell since, falling completely under his control.

Personality: George is a great leader, inspiring confidence in all who meet him. He is a man who has spent much of his life doing what he believes to be absolutely right. He is headstrong, confident, strong-willed, intelligent, and able-bodied making him extremely well suited to the pursuit of peace. He is also a man who would be willing to sacrifice himself to save others, a true martyr.
History: Born inside the city of Balice he moved away when he was 12 to explore the world and try his hand at being a trainer with his Manectric,[named Sparx] an Electrike at the time. He attempted the Pokemon league challenge of Johto but was unable to complete it and eventually became a peace officer in Cerulean city. During a time as a peace keeper Sparx became much stronger as George rose through the ranks and learned leadership skills that complimented his natural leadership abilities. He has returned to Balice for the funeral of his mother and has decided to stay to help rid the city of the mob.

Personality: Sky original nature is very isolated. He likes to be alone with his pokemon some of the time. However, he is not completely anti-social, as he eventually warms up to people. He likes to keep his pokemon out of their pokeballs, and will when traveling or simply walking through a town. He does not take pokemon abuse lightly, and thoroughly punishes those who do show such behavior.
Appearance:Sky wears a red striped black shirt with dark blue jeans. He wears special black gloves(so he can touch electrike) and wears a black jacket over the shirt. His hair color is silver, while his eyes are blue.
History: Sky is the son of Dialga, born from thoughts rather than through a mother and thus has no mother, kind of how Athena was born. He is unaware of his parentage, but was told his parents died in a plane wreck. Ever since he was a kid, he has had the power to slow time, but only for a few seconds and only slow enough so he can react to attacks a little better. He practices with this power and uses it in battle thus making him powerful trainer.

Personality: Hates most people, his only love is his Pokemon. If someone tries to talk to him while he's doing something important, prepared to be shot at with nasty insults towards your race, gender, sexuality or weight. A common knit picker. Most people would call him stubborn, mean, disgusting, and devious.
History: Left home at the age of 16. Was born into a bad family, where his mother and father were crack dealers. His sister, had a a shiny Pidgey. But 5 years after she got it, it died. After that day, Dave became obsessed with the thought of Pokemon afterlife. At the age of 13 his parents took him to Professor Oak's Pokemon Lab, and he received a male Squirtle. 2 years after that his parents left him. Leaving Dave alone. He had to fight for himself for 2 years and is currently homeless with his Wartortle and Jolteon.

History: Taylor is an up and coming pokémon trainer from Cinnabar Island. He along with his best friend Tori Inoue grew up studying Blaine's technuiques and have developed to use his style on occasion. He had challenged the Kanto Elite 4 but after losing to Glacia he left. He is currently in a relationship with Tori. After leaving the Indigo Plateau he began to travel to anywhere he saw on the news for any reason, good or bad. And after hearing about Balice and the current ordeal occuring he decided to set off and help the innocent bystanders that live there.
*Appearence: Taylor is relatively short for his age. He has chestnut-brown "spice-boy" hair with blonde highlights running through it. Personality: Warren is stern and sour, having seen too much in his life. He rarely talks to others, but once he sets his mind on something, it gets done and done right. He is much more personable once he's had a few drinks, willing to complain or yell at anyone within arm's reach. He cares deeply for Pokemon, and takes everything he does seriously. He is quiet most of the time, but will take charge if things aren't going well. He is a natural leader and works well with others, even if he doesn't like it.
History: Warren was born in Southern Sinnoh, near the ocean. He was a moody child, and would have to deal with the happy beach-loving children who tormented him. He would avoid them, always going straight home. He was quick and obeyed orders, never taking time to play.
After graduating from the police academy, he moved up north, where people had good reason to be grouchy. He fit in well, and helped keep the population safe. He retired after 20 years of service, tired of serving the mob.

Personality: Arlin is the kind of guy who can be happy and fun to be around but can pull it together when things get serious. He hates to see people hurt, and will stop at nothing to protect people he cares about, even if it means death. In battle he focuses on nothing but winning unless he has someone to protect or save. If someone looks down he tries to cheer them up, by cracking jokes that may or may not actually be funny. But when he's alone he often loses his happy flare he normally has outside of battle. From afar he looks to be a loner, but if you start up a conversation with him, you will find his happier self.
History: He led a normal life in the city. Two loving parents, an older brother, school friends. But when he started middle school, things started to go down. His parents went out to dinner but on the way home they were killed in a car accident during a cop chase. Since then his 18 year old brother took care of him. As the violence began to spread getting mugged became a daily norm. His confidence and mood started to plummet. Then one day, when he was 13, as he was backed into a corner by two thugs an umbreon appeared and fought them off for him. The umbreon stuck with him and they became best friends, only having each other and Arlin's older brother, because all of his other friends had gotten involved in gangs or drugs. During the past three years since then he has made it a pint to be able to defend himself, with Pistol (the Umbreon) by his side. This has gotten him in many fights, some turning out negative and some positive.
Appearance: He has a typical shaggy black hairstyle with yellow goggles around his head. He wears a short sleeve yellow t-shirt which tends to be overlapped by a pitch black pull over hoodie and a yellow bandana around his neck with the tie in the back. For pants he has black cargo pants with Velcro pockets. On his feet he has black shoes with yellow trim and yellow laces.

Personality: Lucy enjoys tending to flowers and plants, something she grew up with. She is more "in-tuned" with bug Pokemon because of her background of being born into a family of flower shop owners. She has a soft spot for children and someday wants to be a mother. She is somewhat kind and is willing to lend an ear when anyone needs it. Lucy makes attachments to others easily which is also a bad thing because she is often betrayed. Because of this, she enjoys being around Pokemon more because they aren't as likely to betray her. She is an independent person and doesn't depend on anyone. When she is hurt, Lucy never just sits and wait like a damsel in distress to pick her back up again. She does it herself. Lucy hates people who are utterly useless and can't pick themselves back up once they are hurt because they depended to much on just one person to keep their life going. (In the emotional sense.)
Appearance: Lucy stands at about five foot five. She usually just wears a thin white dress, a sun hat over her brown hair, and heels. She is a glasses person (as she fears contacts), the frame shaped like squares that cover over her green eyes. She keeps a bag that is made out of stiff plant fibers close to her, which usually contains Sniper's Poke'ball and other things. (Blade stays outside her Poke'ball.) She has a slightly rounded face and she has dimples on both cheeks.
History: She lived in a small town in Hoenn. Lucy was born into a family of flower shop owners. She basically grew up around flowers and a fondness for bug Pokemon. She eventually left her hometown on a trainer journey that every ten year old went through. After many years she had settled down and decided to open a flower shop away from her hometown. Lucy had bought a cheap lot of land in Balice, but when she got there she had discovered the city's secrets. (The mobs, drugs, alcohol, and the such.) She currently lives on the lot, which was supposed to be her flower shop before the mobs destroyed it, with her best friends and partners, Blade and Sniper.
Nathanial is wiry, and while he's not short, he really wishes he was taller and bigger, and is extremely touchy about any implication of weakness. He wants to lead the pack, not be part of it, but he isn't (quite) stupid enough to kill himself trying to take down people who really are stronger than him. But they had better watch their back, because someday, he's gonna be stronger than them.
He's distrustful of anyone who doesn't use physical power to get along in life, and hates people who "thinks that reading books makes them better than everyone else", (which is anyone with much schooling, in his mind) He can't read very well, and he has trouble thinking in abstract ways. He doesn't plan ahead, just makes do with what happens, as it happens. He is, however, generally protective of people weaker than him, even if he isn't very nice about it.
Appearance:
Nathanial has brown skin, and reddish-brown crinkly hair that he keeps in a ponytail. He cuts it himself, so when it's down, it's a ragged, bouncy mess (this doesn't happen much). His eyes are green. He's wiry, and stands about 5'7", with large hands and feet that seem to indicate he's probably going to bulk up a bit when he's older. He's go a broad face and wide mouth that's set to frowning by default. He wears baggy cargot pants that he cut off mid-calf, sandals, and layered t-shirts and buttoned shirts. His clothing is scavenged or stolen, but it is somewhat clean (the kids heat their dirty clothes in a big bucket, mash it around, then rinse and dry it). He wraps torn lengths of cloth around his wrists and palms, because he likes the look of fingerless gloves.
History:
Nathanial lost his parents to a drive-by shooting when he was four. He was young enough that he doesn't remember them, but old enough that the crumbling social services of Balice couldn't find anyone to adopt him (people only want babies, anyway). He was placed in a foster home run as a child farm, the couple who ran it taking in children purely for the monetary compensation. Dealing with other angry children started his education in fighting to stay on top, and gave him his habit of surly protection for the younger kids, until he finally had enough, and ran away, taking a couple of the other kids with him.
He joined a gang of children living on the streets. Their squat was in an abandoned bungalow that had been part of an unfinished building project on a subdivision. The parkland that had been bulldozed to make way for houses grew back over his years there, and wild pokemon returned to the vicinity. Some of them, drawn to the kids because of their food and the few stolen pokemon that lived with them, grew tame. The kids ended up pretty safe there, even if they lost people from time to time when they went to steal supplies. They always ended up with new homeless runaways to replace them.
Nowadays, Nathanial's sick of living on the edges of what he considers a garbage dump of a city. He doesn't remember what having a good home is really like, but he thinks the little kids still oughta be able to get one, and it ain't happening when things are this bad.

She has not spoken to her sister or father in the three years she has been travelling and has no plans of going back to Snowpoint City ever again.

As a child she made the decision to grow her hair out, resulting in long hair a little above her waist. It is unnaturally dark red in colour. She usually wears her hair in a bun or pony tail at the back of her head in order to keep it out of the way. She has pale blue, almost grey, eyes and wears a little bit of dark make-up to make her eyes stand out more. Her nails are short as she has a habit of biting them. She has sharp facial features and a slim physique, mostly from not eating properly in her travels. She wears black pants that are tight on her, being a few years old now, with black and white sneakers. She wears a plain white tank top with a long black coat over top that buttons up in the front, though she usually has it unbuttoned and open.

Personality: Mick's a guy who rarely smiles. His only concern is taking down the mob, and doesn't care about anything else. He is completely paranoid, always thinking the mob will come after him. Mick doesn't want that to happen...yet. He wants them to come for him when he is fully prepared. He also plans to infiltrate the mob and take over their businesses, so that someday he will end those scumbags for good.
History: Mick's parents, Wayne and Joan Stark used to own a barbershop and paid protection to the Mob. But after the mobsters raised the protection rate 3 times, the Starks refused to keep paying and as a result were ambushed one day they were teaching 7-year-old Mick how to ride a bike in the park. Mick was traumatized by watching his parents die and held a strong grudge against the mobsters. He tried to stay alive by mugging and stealing drugs to sell them. But the cops always arrested him, so he held resentment towards those crooked cops. When Mick turned 15, he killed one of the mobsters who killed his parents by hitting him from behing with a crow bar and took his gun, a .38 Magnum, and his Pokémon, a Machoke. He trained the Machoke, nicknamed Tommy, and the latter began to trust Mick. He lives/hides in his parents' old apartment, planning to take the Mob out of the picture and avenge his parents.

Appearance: Keana has dark tan skin and eyes of a bright blue. Her hair is dyed a dark green and is kept out of her face by a black bandanna she uses to tie her long hair back. She dresses in a Black tube top and Dark Green Skinny jeans along with boots of the same color. On her upper arm lies a tattoo of black roses and she has scars on her arms from cutting.
Personality: Keana hasn't smiled or been happy once in her life. She is cold and Angry as well as nervous that the mob will come after her. She always watches her back and can be selfish at times and selfless at others. Those conflicting factors in her personality are the reason she is so afraid and still alive.
History: When she was four Keana's parents gave her to the mob in order to stay alive. From that age to age 16 Keana lived in an environment where she was forced to take drugs and was beaten and raped every day. She can recall no happy memory from before she was given to the mob and when she finally gathered the courage to run away she quickly joined the people who were against them. During her first month of freedom Keana managed to kill one of the men who tortured her for so long taking both of his Pokemon, a Growlithe and a Flareon. She nicknamed the Growlithe Dagger and the Flareon Blade and after two months had gained the trust of the Pokemon. She spends almost all her time plotting and watching making sure she plans her revenge perfectly.

Personality: Grecko is easy to get along with, although at times when his anger rises he will act on it. He loves to help people in need and would love for people to call him a hero. At times he can get a bit in over his head due to his need to be a hero which causes him to get in problems. Grecko was also taught to his train his pokemon intensly, although with a lot of care at the same time.
History: Grecko was born in the Johto region. His father was a former champion and his mother worked at the department store in Goldenrod City. When he was three years old Grecko's parents had another son, who Grecko instantly began to look out for. When he was seven years old his family moved out to a private woodland area on the outskirt of the Kanto Region, where Grecko's father could train and battle against random traveling trainers. Grecko gained respect for his father from watching him batttle and eventually began to train with his father at the age of 13. When he was 16 his father gave him his first pokemon which was a charmander, in which he intrusted his son to train hard with. When he become 18 his father and him were on a training expedition through the diglet cave when an odd group of men jumped them and Grecko was told to run away by his father. Since then Grecko has never seen his father, but he still wears his original Green jacket his father wore in the Johto League Championship. He is now 21 and decided it's time for him and his Charmeleon to fight back and show something for the training his father gave him. It's time to go to Balice and make a difference.
Appearance: Grecko stands at 5 foot 6 inches which is short for his age but he doesn't mind anymore. He is decently muscular and pretty athletic. He wears a red tee shirt with his fathers green championship jacket over top. He wears Blue jeans around his legs with a belt that carrys his pokeballs. His hair is black and spikey with the front spike having a golden tip. His eyes are green and his face and body is decently tan all season long.

Personality:
Nathanial is wiry, and while he's not short, he really wishes he was taller and bigger, and is extremely touchy about any implication of weakness. He wants to lead the pack, not be part of it, but he isn't (quite) stupid enough to kill himself trying to take down people who really are stronger than him. But they had better watch their back, because someday, he's gonna be stronger than them.
He's distrustful of anyone who doesn't use physical power to get along in life, and hates people who "thinks that reading books makes them better than everyone else", (which is anyone with much schooling, in his mind) He can't read very well, and he has trouble thinking in abstract ways. He doesn't plan ahead, just makes do with what happens, as it happens. He is, however, generally protective of people weaker than him, even if he isn't very nice about it.
Appearance:
Nathanial has brown skin, and reddish-brown crinkly hair that he keeps in a ponytail. He cuts it himself, so when it's down, it's a ragged, bouncy mess (this doesn't happen much). His eyes are green. He's wiry, and stands about 5'7", with large hands and feet that seem to indicate he's probably going to bulk up a bit when he's older. He's go a broad face and wide mouth that's set to frowning by default. He wears baggy cargot pants that he cut off mid-calf, sandals, and layered t-shirts and buttoned shirts. His clothing is scavenged or stolen, but it is somewhat clean (the kids heat their dirty clothes in a big bucket, mash it around, then rinse and dry it). He wraps torn lengths of cloth around his wrists and palms, because he likes the look of fingerless gloves.
History:
Nathanial lost his parents to a drive-by shooting when he was four. He was young enough that he doesn't remember them, but old enough that the crumbling social services of Balice couldn't find anyone to adopt him (people only want babies, anyway). He was placed in a foster home run as a child farm, the couple who ran it taking in children purely for the monetary compensation. Dealing with other angry children started his education in fighting to stay on top, and gave him his habit of surly protection for the younger kids, until he finally had enough, and ran away, taking a couple of the other kids with him.
He joined a gang of children living on the streets. Their squat was in an abandoned bungalow that had been part of an unfinished building project on a subdivision. The parkland that had been bulldozed to make way for houses grew back over his years there, and wild pokemon returned to the vicinity. Some of them, drawn to the kids because of their food and the few stolen pokemon that lived with them, grew tame. The kids ended up pretty safe there, even if they lost people from time to time when they went to steal supplies. They always ended up with new homeless runaways to replace them.
Nowadays, Nathanial's sick of living on the edges of what he considers a garbage dump of a city. He doesn't remember what having a good home is really like, but he thinks the little kids still oughta be able to get one, and it ain't happening when things are this bad.

Unusual markings: Fang has ragged ears from fighting, and wears a piece of knotted yellow plastic rope as a collar. Candle lost an eye before she ever met Nathanial, and it healed shut, with a big, rather disgusting scar over it.

Why is the group almost entirely 17-year-old males? There's also a 15-year-old male, a 42-year-old male, and a 24-year-old female, but seriously! Was there a sale on 17-year-old boys?

I don't think it sounds pervy--rather, I can easily imagine young guys exactly that age deciding to go off and fight stuff. All brimming with adolescent male testosterone. Even more easily if there's someone with experience leading the way.
That said, the sheer monotony of it... I don't mind changing mine to 19 or 20! Just to break up the repetition, lol.
