rpg maker 2k3 works on vista but not rm2k or rmxp without doing what the tutorial that Glitch wrote. atleast thats what i heard from a vista user

Well a new Version of RPG Maker is on it's way, It's supposed to be an upgrade of RPG Maker XP. It works on Vista and it's name is RPG Maker VX. It's set for release sometime this month, in japanese. Not sure about the english version though...

Anyway that's beyond the scope of this thread.

Did you actually read the rules for this thread? I mean, do you honestly think that a shield liger battle character set exists on the 'net? If so, I doubt it's anywhere easily accessible. So, you are breaking this thread's rules by requesting something be created.

What isn't allowed in this thread:

• Requesting somebody to custom make a chip/charset for you
• Asking how to make a CBS, CMS, Pokedex etc
• Asking for someone to give you one of the above
• Asking for someone to make a script just for you
• Requesting warez
• Asking for someone to post their own code

Unfortunately, no. You might be able to put it onto the cart, but a GBA wouldn't play it at all. A GBA doesn't have a computer-like operating system or programs, in fact, it has only enough preprogrammed code to read GBA games.

Anyways, is there a way to transfer one map from another project of mine to another? I might try to transfer through the Data folder, but I don't wanna replace a newer map...

just do the copy thing from the data folder
or u can open it in rmxp
go to the folder n select copy
open new project
n paste it
or u can copy new scripts over to ur old project
everytime poccil updates
he posts a list of changed/added scripts
just copy those to ur old project(way easier)

erm, thanks, but I need to transfer my maps..Not scripts. And when I do transfer them, it asks if I want to replace the others..and..I don't...

u can transfer scripts to the project with ur maps instead so all ur scripts n maps will be in 1 project

I just wanna pull over my maps, but when I copy/paste from RMXP to RMXP, it is an empty maps . Then when I try to transfer my maps from folder to folder, each one has a map called "Map 001" and stuff. But I don't wanna replace the maps in the new Update

did u open rmxp twice each one with a diff project
or did u copy ,close project,open other project,paste

do the first one

or u can try renaming the map files

to something like Map--- in the --- place a number not being used(not sure of this wokrs tho)
