    If you just started your journey, what regoin would you start in? What would your reaction be? What starter would you chose? Would you travel with others? Who are they?

    This is a pretty nice idea there, Dark Aero.
    Here we go:

    Region: Johto
    (Where else would I start? The second generation games were my all time favoite, of course I would choose Johto.)

    Reaction: Wow, so today is the day I finally get to start my adventure with Pokémon?
    ...Might as well get a few more hours of sleep.
    (I'm not a morning person... -.-)

    Travel with others: Yes, I would be very willing to travel with others, as long as they were my close and personal friends.
    (Who wants to travel around with a complete stranger? That's a tad bit creepy...)

    Starter: The most awesome fire-type starter of all time, the amazing Cyndaquil.
    (Sorry, but I'm quite attached to the little guy.)

    I'd have to say...

    Region: Kanto
    Starter - Bulbasuar
    Reaction - "Alright! I'm going to become the greatest master of them all!"
    Travel with Others - uh... I think I'd start out alone, and find friends to travel with along the way...
    Who I'd travel with - hopefully I'd meet a cute female trainer... maybe a water type gym leader, and maybe my rival/best friend would join us from time to time... plus we'd need someone who's practicing to be a breeder or healer... maybe a young nurse joy.
    My goal - to travel throughout Kanto and the surrounding regions in search of new pokemon to train and challenge the elite 4 one day. And eventually I'd lose interest in becoming the grand champion and become a traveling pokemon professor/trainer.

    Starter- Chikorita or Cyndaqil, I suppose.

    Region: Probably Sinnoh, though that's only cause it's definitely the most interesting of regions.
    Reaction: I'd be excited, though I'm not sure how I'd really react. Maybe just sing the first Pokemon theme song, haha.

    Travel with others: Yeah, but I ain't really sure who. I'm sure I can find many people on the way and hang with them for a bit before we go our separate ways. It'd be mad fun.

    Region: Probably Kanto because I'm a purist. That and I'd probably be born there, if I have anything to say about it. (I'd move outward later on, of course.)

    Reaction: "Traveling and goofing off with animals and getting paid for it instead of having to go to college and get a real job? Sweet! Sign me up!"

    Starter: Out of the conventional ones, I'd probably go with Squirtle because I adore Water-types and the little turtle itself.

    Travel With Others: Only if I absolutely had to. Company would be nice, but I'm not much of a people person.

    With Who: Close friends. Or I'd bribe convince Bill to tag along by offering rare Pokemon (that I may or may not actually have at the time) in exchange for letting me abuse his knowledge.

    Region: Definitely Johto. Only because I'm one of those fanatical freaks who refuses to think that anything from the second generation onwards is good.

    Reaction: Er, probably happy. I wouldn't say that I'd be completely shocked or anything like that because I was probably planning on the journey for the past nine years and six hundred and sixty-four days. And yes, feel free to give or take a few days if you feel like counting in a leap year or two.

    Starter: Charmander or Squirtle because they rock and I love their evolutionary lines.

    Travel With Others: Yes. I crave socialism and I would not be able to travel around a region by myself as the ultimate consequence of that would be me admitting to my mother that she was right and that I can't look after myself.

    With Who: Close friends, both offline and online. And maybe Ash Ketchum, just so I could slag him for being unable to be as good a Pokémon trainer as me.

    Well, I'm kind of indecisive here - Charmander's my favourite starter overall, but I'd rather start from the Johto region. I'll do up two different scenarios for this...

    Region: Kanto Region

    Reaction: Well, I'm finally doing it. The day I've been anticipating for the longest time has arrived. What'll it be like, raising my own Pokemon and battling other trainers in real live matches? What Pokemon will I end up catching and raising? I have so many questions, but so few answers. I'd best find someone to travel with and help me out for the first bit of the trip...

    Starter: Charmander

    Travel With Others: Yes, I'd probably travel with at least one other person.

    With Who: I wouldn't mind traveling with Misty, and maybe a grass-type trainer. There are a number of characters from the anime I'd like to travel with, but out of all of them, I think I'd prefer most to travel with Misty.

    Region: Johto Region

    Reaction: Oh gosh, do I have everything I need? Johto's a highly forested place, so I'll need to pack plenty of supplies for camping in the woods from time to time. Oh, and I'll need my camera, too... and my... oh, I think I'd better do up a list before I set off...

    Starter: Sticking with the fire-types here, I'll go with Cyndaquil...

    Travel With Others: For parts of the journey. Other parts I'd rather explore on my own.

    With Who: Gold and Crystal from the Pokemon games (or their anime counterparts, Jimmy and Marina).
