  • Gym Type/Theme: Normal/Cafe
    Gym Leader: Buffy
Location: In the lush grass by the shade of Mt. Moon.
Setup: Just like the Fighting Dojo in Saffron, this won't be an official Gym. Rather, it is an actual cafe where trainers are encouraged to battle. Everyday, the trainers/customers change. Its more like a "Gym" in this aspect. There's only one other employee besides the leader and is available for battle all the time. You can also buy Fresh Water, Soda Pop, and Lemonade. Sorry, we don't serve Moo Moo Milk.

    Trainer:
Butler Kevin - Hates his boss, loves this job.
    Jigglypuff
    Jigglypuff
    Porygon
    Jigglypuff

    Leader:
Maid Buffy - Cheery red head
    Igglybuff
    Rattata
    Jigglypuff
    Raticate
    Porygon
    Wigglytuff

Prize: Since Kevin understands the trials and tribulations of a Pokemon trainer, he gives the player a random power item, TM26, TM 76, a heart scale, or 4 shards of random color. He'll only do this once everyday and the item received is random.

  • Here's mine:

    Gym Theme/Type: Fire... Offence >:
    Gym Leader: Ylia

Location: Use-your-mind-area. Puzzles to solve, riddles and such...each time fealing the hot breath of Fire Pokémon in your neck.

Trainers in my gym have very strong Fire Pokemon. High attack to make up for what they lack.

    Leader Pokemon:

    Houndoom
    Arcanine
    Ninetails
    Blaziken
    Charizard
    Typhlosion

    Prizes:
Heat Badge - TM Overheat - TM Eruption

Heat badge raises the base stats of Fire Pokemon and reduces the advantage of Water Pokemon.

    Gym Theme/Type: Ice/Dark

Gym Leader: Sharon (random name, meh.)

Location: Hidden in the mountains, near Snowpoint City

Setup: Four rooms, each getting increasingly large and difficult to maneuver in. The challenger would have to move around in the dark, dodging wild Pokemon and trainers while trying to make it to the ladder leading to the next level. Losing to a trainer/Pokemon or accidentally triggering a trap would result in the challenger sliding down an ice slide, back to the entrance room. The trainers in the gym would use mainly Ice Pokemon, with a smattering of Dark-types mixed in. Every time the challenger advanced to the next room, the levels (and evolution stages) of the gym's trainers would raise by 11, with the final level in the fourth room being 44.

    Leader Pokemon:

    In order of appearence:

    - Mightyena (Level 48)
    - Dewgong (Level 46)
    - Umbreon (Level 45)
    - Lapras (Level 53)
    - Weavile (Level 55)
    - Glaceon (Level 50)

    Prizes:

Glacier Badge - Raises Speed of all Pokemon in trainer's party; raises accuracy of Ice-type moves
TM Icicle Storm - Summons intense wave of ice shards that deal damage to all Pokemon on the field except the user.

  • Personally, I'd be quite similar to Red in that I'd eventually climb above both Gym leader and Elite Four stages to a whole 'nother league.

But if I was a poke' gym leader, I'd probably have alot of diffrences to the usual one.

First off, My poke' element choices probably won't be just one. It'd be consisted of Flying, Fire, Dragon, and Steel types. My location wouldn't even be stationary. It'd be a flying mechanical giant airship, where one would have to fly to get to it. In fights, not only does one have to battle with pokemon, but mono 'e mono as well. Hey, a trainer has to be as tough as their pokemon, both in spirit AND body. There'd be probably about a dozen trainers waiting around to test you out before you even attempt to fight me, and then when you do, my pokemon will probably be:

    -Steelix
    -Raichu
    -Blaziken
    -Dragonair
    -Charizard
    -Salamence

I'm not giving any thought to movesets at the moment, but if it wasn't obvious, I'd probably be one of the last gym leaders you would wanna tackle.

    Prizes:

    Blazer Badge
    TM Hyper Beam or somethin...

  • Gym Type: Normal and psychic
    Leader: Eagle
    Location: Sunny Town

I wouldn't have other Trainers around...I would have a test and only those who know a lot about Pokemon would reach me.

    Miltank
    Cleffable
    Mr.Mime

I would try to win with attacks that let the Pokemon fall asleep or confuses/ paralizes them.^^
Them I'll finish them off with srong psychic attacks.

Gym Level: This would be gym # five or six.
Gym Theme: The inside of a mansion, with lotsa gold and chandeliers
Gym Element: Normal/Steel (but other types can be used)

The gym wouldn't have tile puzzles, but the character would have to go around speaking to the trainers to receive hints for a type of word puzzle to find out where the leader is located. Since this is like the inside of a mansion, it would be hard to find the leader by chance. Also, some rooms are one-time healing places (but these are very rare and you have to go out of your way to find them).

    Pokemon (levels not included)
    Glameow
    Mawile
    Gardevoir
    Empoleon

These aren't necessarily my favorites, but I like the theme of the gym and I tried to stick with pokemon that match that.
