Pokémon Heiwa

Introduction/Story

The Heiwa Region is relaxed and peaceful place, an archipelago where everyone likes to take their time and enjoy the water. First discovered years ago by a group of explorers, the Heiwa region has become a place of deep culture and skilled trainers.

You are a young trainer and burgeoning journalist from Solitario Town. Your mother just became the manager of the Heiwa Herald, a regionally syndicated newspaper, and she has a task for you: explore Heiwa and encounter as much excitement as you can. This is your chance to show that you can be a top notch reporter, and your stories will be based on your battles. Meanwhile, something darker may be stirring just off the shores...

Pokémon Heiwa is based upon the Heiwa Region from the World of PokéCommunity, and a number of events and people have been inspired by it. You can see it here.

Hey! Nice job Heart! I like your water tiles. It projects a feeling of calmness and peace and I really like that it's easier on the eyes then the original tiles. I'm excited to see how you'll go about with the non-linear story.

A view of the second gym, which doubles as a restaurant. Obviously, the OW will change once I get a good one.

Augh, I totally forgot about setting the text color. I've got it fixed now. :)

Thanks! And Brina isn't involved with the Dance Theatre, but she does have a whole side-quest planned with here elsewhere in the region. :)
I'm not exactly sure yet, but Brina may be moving to another city (although she'll be in Ombra for the first beta), and the new gym leader will probably make more sense.

Just a small update to share. Team Aqua now have their own custom overworld sprites! Not only that, but I've given the lava a bit of a make over and even replaced the textbox.
