Name: Kai
Age: 14
Wanted starter: Elekid
Personality: A shy and often defensive person. He sometimes finds it difficult to talk or work with people - if he can't think of anything to do/say, he won't do/say anything. He can stick his mind to something and get it done, but only if he really wants to.
Appearance: Black, curly hair, tanned skin, brown eyes and a very small nose. He has abnormally large hands and feet. He is quite tall and skinny, but not gangly. He wears a black thermal jacket at all times, and usually has blue denim jeans on. His shoes are plain black, and if it gets cold, he will only ever don gloves - he NEVER wears hats. He also carries a satchel wherever he goes, just incase he needs to pick up something big.

Charly asked the shopkeeper if she could have some oran berries and a blanket. Once the shopkeeper gave her the items, she ran back to the Zorua, seeing Xiro, Both Zoruas and Eevee. Eevee had just scared the Mightyena off as Charly gave The hurt Zorua the blanket and Oran Berries.

"Thank you, I'm Missa, and this Pokabu, is P-chan," said Missa. She then checked to see if the shiny Pichu was ok,"Are you ok, Pichu?" She asked him. The wild shiny Pichu nodded,"Would you like to come with us?"

"Pichu," the shiny Pichu nodded.

"Would you like a nickname? How about Puka, meaning cute, just like Pokabu's name means pig cute," Missa grinned. Pichu nodded yes. Missa threw a Pokeball and caught the shiny Pichu, after nicknaming him Puka. She then let Puka out of his Pokebal where he took a ride on her shoulder. She also threw a Pokeball and caught one of the Poochyena who had been in the battle, nicknaming it Poochi, another cute name,"Thanks for the help. Who are you people?" She asked as she pocketed Poochi's ball and picked up P-chan.

Xiro got back up relieved that the poochyena were gone now. The zorua that Xiro was about to battle came up to him and started to rub itself on his leg. "Hey there little guy," Xiro said as he crouched down next to the Zorua and took out a pokeball. "Treecko is too tired to fight now but would you like to join us?" Xiro asked with a smile on his face. The Zorua smiled and shook his head yes. Xiro then tapped the pokeball on zoruas' head and he went inside the ball. "My name is Xiro and this is my Treecko," Xiro said putting the pokeball away. "Glad to meet you all and I'm happy to help but I'll be off now," Xiro said as he and Treecko started to walk away.

"See ya," Xiro said

It was nighttime and Charly watched the zorua get better. The zorua was still weak.
"Hey, want to come with me?" Charly asked. The zorua sneezed and nodded. Charly threw the pokeball and caught the baby zorua! her moves were bark out, shadow ball, quick attack and attract.

"C'mon, Elekid, stop dawdling," Kai groaned as his partner stalled behind him. "We're in a region that has never been explored before, and you're picking flowers." The Elekid looked up at Kai, then quickly ran along after him. "There's no data on this route, so there might be ground-types about. If so, don't bother with ThunderShock, and keep using Quick Attack."

Sometimes it was difficult having a Pokemon like Elekid. It had such a short attention span, and would rarely listen to a single word Kai said. So Kai brought it with him to Drendo, to raise him into a powerful Electabuzz, or maybe even an Electivire. But that was a long way down the road - there probably wouldn't be any Electirizers on the island, and getting him powerful enough to evolve once would be pretty difficult.

As they were walking down the route, there was a rustling in a tree to Kai's left. He turned to look at it just as an aggravated Aipom hurled a rock at Elekid. Elekid was rammed into Kai, who stumbled before steadying himself and it. "Curses... Elekid, aim and use ThunderShock." Elekid whirled its arms around and built up a small electrical charge. He aimed carefully before he had to release his shot. But the nimble Aipom jumped out of the way, now Leering at Elekid.

"Okay then, use Quick Attack until you hit it," Kai sighed. "Then use ThunderShock. That should power him down." Elekid ran at Aipom with surprising speed, and ended up clipping Aipom's tail. However, now that Elekid was close, Aipom launched a powerful scratched that sent Elekid reeling. And then, before it even crossed Kai's mind, Elekid began whirling his arms around to charge a ThunderShock. When he released it, though Aipom tried to move, it couldn't - Elekid's static had activated, and Aipom was now paralysed.

Aipom fell to the ground, and began to try to get itself up. "Elekid, use Quick Attack before it gets up." Elekid obeyed the order, and connected with Aipom's skull. Aipom was knocked over again. Kai now had a choice - he could throw a Pokeball and obtain a Pokemon that he'd never trained before. Or, he could knock it out, and gain some valuable experience for Elekid.

"Elekid, ThunderShock, now," Kai said with a sort of apathy. He had little respect for the normal type due to its pathetic offensive capabilities and how common they were. As Elekid zapped the Aipom, its head lolled to the sight, a telltale sign of a won battle. As Kai went to leave, he couldn't help feel a sort of respect for the Aipom he had just defeated. Reaching into his satchel, he placed several berries that would help Aipom recover next to it. Smiling, he walked away with Elekid happily in tow, positively charged with energy after its battle.

But before Xiro could do anything there was an explosion. Something grabbed Missa from behind, and P-chan and Puka fell from her arms along with Poochi's ball which opened when it hit the ground as Missa was lifted up in the air by a helicopter. Poochi howled as his master was kidnapped before he could even get to know her. P-chan and Puka cried, Missa's name.

Missa looked up and the people who took her had a red letter R on there shirts,"Our boss would like a word with you," they said.

"I know you, your Team Rocket! What does Giovanni want with me?" Missa asked.

"You'll find out," they said as Missa was lifted into the helicopter.

"Xiro! Help me!" She screamed. Her three Pokemon cried from below. There attacks wouldn't reach that high up.

"Missa!" Xiro shouted as he turned around to see that she was being taken away by a group of people in a helicopter. "Treecko I've got a plan return," Xiro said as he put treecko back into his pokeball and started to climb a tree near the helicopter. "The helicopter hasn't gone up that far this tree will give me a good enough distance so i can jump on it and save Missa," Xiro thought as he took of his red jacket and climbed to the top of the tree. The wind by the helicopter was strong a fierce and almost blew him off the tree. "This wont stop me," Xiro thought has he tossed Treecko and Zoruas' pokeballs onto the helicopter. "Treecko pound and Zorua use whatever attack you know!' Xiro commanded as he jumped onto the railing on the bottom of the helicopter. Xiro didn't know what attacks Zorua knew yet which wasn't a good thing. Treecko then attacked on of the team rocket members knocking him off the helicopter and Zorua scratching another one with it claws knocking this one out of the helicopter also.

"Hold on!" Xiro said as he struggled to get onto the helicopter. "Get out of here kid!" The team rocket member said holding Missa. "Let go of her!" Xiro shouted as he and Treecko ran up to the Rocket member. "Arrgh retreat let's get out of here!" The rocket member said tossing Missa out of the helicopter and running toward the cockpit. Xiro, not thinking, quickly jumped out of the helicopter and grabbed hold of Missa and then flipped over using his back to shield her and take the fall. Treecko and Zorua both jumped into a near by tree. Xiros' eyes widened as the hit the ground the pain was immense. "Yet again we meet in strange situations," Xiro said smiling as he fell unconscious while his pokemon came by to check on him

Kai and Elekid saw the Pokemon kidnapping from where he was. He had no idea who were doing it, but he knew he didn't want to be a part of anything which might end up with Elekid stolen. Though they weren't a compatible match on paper, there was an unseeable but strong bond between them. They decided to hang back for a while, as they may have been more helicopter-owning Pokemon thieves.

Of course, that meant that he may have had to sleep where he stood - the sun was beginning to set in the distance. But that would mean he had made no progress in this region that he hadn't explored yet. But what if... If he got some sleep right now, he would be able to keep traveling later at night. "No. That's a ludicrous idea," Kai spoke to himself as he started walking on. "I'll just keep going, see if I can find somewhere good to rest."

Sandy, seeing two people fall from a helicopter, knew someone had to be hurt, so she ran over to Xiro and Missa. Seeing Xiro unconcious, she thought quickly.
"Otter, use a gentle water gun attack."
Otter gently shot a small blast of cold water from her mouth, hoping to wake Xiro up.
"Dude, wake up..." Sandy said, nudging Xiro with her foot. She turned to Missa. "Is he alright?"

Charly ran up to Xiro carrying a blanket. "Hey! you OK? She said. Charly gave Xiro the blanket. Then she ran off looking for some warm milk and oran berries. When she got it she ran back to Xiro putting the warm milk and oran berries in a mixture. (OOC: Yes, in the game my mum was a doctor) Then Charly put it next to Xiro, waiting for him to wake up.

Ethan's Eevee jumps off from his shoulder and lands in front of him with agility.

Kai decided against helping Xiro, as it was starting to get dark. Plus, there was someone who seemed to know what he was doing there. So, in the end, he decided to continue on down the route. By the time the sky was pitch black, Kai had set up camp behind a boulder, to hide him from view of anything wild that may sneak up on him in the night. Kai was in his sleeping bag and Elekid was in his Pokeball, but just when Kai was about to fall asleep, he recieved a large bite on the leg from a Poochyena! Yelling in pain, he pulled Elekid from his ball. "Elekid, ThunderShock, quickly!" he yelled, trying to get out of his sleeping bag.

Elekid did as he was commanded, but the attack did next to nothing. "Darn, use Quick Attack." Elekid ran at the Poochyena, and it didn't move - it was ready. As Elekid struck the Poochyena, it moved slightly and Bit his arm, not letting go - and this completely stuck Elekid. He couldn't swing his arms to charge a ThunderShock, and he couldn't hit the Poochyena with a Quick Attack. All it did was run around in a circle, wailing. Suddenly, Kai hatched an idea. Pulling a PokeBall outof his bag, he smacked the Poochyena on the head with it, activating the ball. The Poochyena was drawn into it, freeing Elekid. Elekid immediately ran to his trainer's side, but he knew his respite would be short when Kai whispered "start charging a ThunderShock."

It was not long before the ball stopped twitching and exploded in a pool of white light. The Poochyena was back, and looking angrier. Firing, Elekid was knocked back slightly - he had accumulated a little too much energy, and this ThunderShock was different - it was a Charge Beam. It did plenty of damage to the Poochyena, but that didn't stop it. Howling, it ran for Elekid, with murder in its eyes.

"Hey, heres a Shard! I wonder what it is..." said Charly, she had seen a moon shard. When she saw the moon shard, 3 Eevee ran up to her and used bite.
"Ow.....ack" said Charly, Eevee jumped off her shoulder and stopped the other Eevee. One of the Eevee was a baby getting told by the others to attack me. The baby Eevee ran to me and rubbed her head on my leg. My Eevee started battling the older Eevee while I tapped a Pokeball on Eevee's head. I caught the baby Eevee. Then, The other Eevee gave in and gave me the moon shard.

Charly then Ran off to the park to send everybody out. Since her starter Eevee was so happy playing with the moon shard and me, she evolved.
"Eevee!" Charly shouted.

Eevee was evolving...

The Poochyena was about to smash Elekid with a Tackle, powered up with the Howl. Elekid attempted to dodge, but couldn't - and was knocked back by a few feet. Picking himself up, Elekid fired a ThunderShock at Poochyena but completely missed. The Poochyena hurled sand at Elekid, further reducing his accuracy. He attempted to fire off another few shots, but failed to hit the target. "Elekid, keep using ThunderShock, you'll hit him eventually."

He kept firing, but couldn't hit. Things started to look bleak - Poochyena kept using howl, powering up its attacks. It was looking to hit hard. Suddenly, it charged, with its mouth gaping, about to give a devestating Bite. It was a miracle when Elekid shot a ThunderShock straight into its mouth, tripping the powerful pokemon up. "Charge Beam, in the exact same direction, now!" Kai shouted, tension building in his blood. Elekid fired the Charge Beam, and it landed. Poochyena was only just standing up, but was knocked over by the Charge Beam.

Digging another Pokeball out of his bag, Kai hurled it at the Poochyena. It entered the ball, and, after swaying for thirty seconds, was sealed inside. Kai could only smile - this Poochyena was powerful, and Kai had caught it. Of course, the battle had tired him and Elekid out further, so he withdrew his Pokemon and went back to his rock. This time, however, he noticed something - a poster, attatched with glue, advertising a contest in Aliya City. Kai could only assume that the city was the lights out in the distance, and he would probably be there soon enough. The poster also advertised the gym - a fire-type specialist named Andy.

Retreating into his sleeping bag, Kai thought on how to defeat the first gym with no effective Pokemon.

Charly, as soon as she woke up, she saw a really bright light. She ran to the light and she saw somebody battling Andy with a pikachu.Charly ran past the battle and saw a line of people entering the contest tomorrow. So Charly put her name in the box, not realising that there were two boxes. She put her name in the Gym Battle box. When she DID realise, she didn't care, she wanted to be a strong trainer, with cute, but strong pokemon . After she put her name into the contest place, she ran to the hotel and thought about her team. She chose Eevee for the contest round and Zorua for the battle round, she needed to get training....
