Plot:

The region of Unova: A lush and exotic place nearly untouched by any other region in the Pokemon World. Unlike the other regions around the world, Unova does not run on electricity, but steam power. It's a region of gears, coal, fire, and airships. It is here that the tale of our young heroes and heroines begin.

It has been nearly three years since the eradication of the misguided Team Plasma and their leader, Ghetsis. Since then, Unova and its people have lived in peace. However, recently, rumors and sightings of a familiar green-haired boy have caused the citizens of Unova to be unsettled. Some have said that the boy has been seen riding atop the legendary Pokemon Zekrom. Others say he's been flying around Unova on the legendary Reshiram. Whatever the case may be, it has captured the attention of the Unova League.

Electricity is a power that Unova has not yet tapped into. They believe that it is a force not to reckoned with because the legendary Dragon, Zekrom, controls electricity and is told to be a very cold creature. Instead, Unova uses the power of steam and fire, in honor of Reshiram, who is seen as a beacon of light. Transportation through Unova is by steam train or airship, but there are no cars and certainly no airplanes.

But, that isn't your concern...at least, not yet. For now, your main concern is meeting with Professor Juniper to collect your starter Pokemon and set out on your journey to conquer the eight gyms of Unova. Are you ready?

You look at her with a bit of confusion, "What's an Apricorn Ball...?"

She laughs, "Oh, right, well you see, here in Unova, we utilize a special fruit called an Apricorn. It has special properties that make it almost identical to the Poke Balls of other regions in terms of usage if it's properly refined."

Accepted Characters:

Spikey-Eared Pichu:
Name: Soul Lumbardi
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Physical Description: Soul is quite tall for his age, standing at 6"2. Years of exercise has bestowed him with a fit and healthy body. Soul has rather pale skin, but it compliments his dark, gelled hair. His face is rather angular, with a dominant chin and nose. He has a small, trimmed goatee of black hair. Due to his fascination with mechanics, Soul wears a pair of leather gloves and has a pair of goggles around his neck, cleverly concealed by a mustard yellow scarf.

Soul's eyes are ice-blue in color, changing to a darker shade of turquoise when he's angry. His clothing choice is rather somber, choosing to wear a black jacket over a crimson shirt and black jeans with black, leather work boots. His ears are pierced three times each and his left eyebrow is also pierced. On his right cheek, Soul has a small tattoo of a spade that rests just above his cheekbone. Soul carries around a monkey wrench which is strapped to his right thigh in case he ever has to fix anything. Around his waist is a tool belt.

Personality: Soul is a very arrogant young man. He doesn't take kindly to being put down and is quick to come up with a sharp retort. Soul's pride is his downfall in battle. He almost always assumes he's going to win and so he doesn't pay much attention to what's really going on.

On the other hand, Soul can also be very intellectual and soft. He has a wealth of knowledge from reading so many books in his spare time. Despite his sarcastic and demeaning exterior, Soul is actually very caring to those he loves and cares about. He is willing to do just about anything to protect the people close to him.

History: Soul was born and raised into the Lumbardi family: The richest family in Opelucid City. Soul's father was the head of Unova's biggest coal distributor. Soul was given the best education and from a young age, he believed he was of a higher class than anyone else. Soul's father was never around the house so as a child, Soul would spend his time reading books or playing with the Pokemon that lived in the garden of his parents' home. During this time, Soul began to have a growing love of Pokemon.

When Soul was 7, his mother passed away. It was a dreadful blow to Soul and his father, but even his wife's death couldn't make Soul's father pay more attention to him. As a repercussion, Soul become more withdrawn. In school, he'd making biting remarks at his schoolmates or just resign himself to a textbook. At home, he'd completely immerse himself in playing with the Pokemon in the garden. His father would make half-hearted attempts to connect with his son, but they always fell flat.

As a teenager, Soul had become more open with people, but was still snide and sarcastic. He became very interested in his mechanics and Pokemon Battling classes and was soon known around school as its best mechanic and Pokemon battler. Despite this, Soul's journey as a Trainer did not begin until he turned 17.

Kay11109:
Name: Trent Asahoshi
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Appearance:
Trent is a rather plain looking boy for someone his age, with only a few distinctive features. He stands at about 5'8 inches making him about decent height when compare to his peers. His eyes being one of his better features are a silver grey, a color found most commonly on fish scales. His gaze portrays the happiness and calm of his personality, and can be very fierce when provoked by a foe. Trent's hair is a silky black and is rather long for a male. His hair is worn in a pretty interesting manner; the hair at the top of his head is normally spiky and runs of in many directions. As you move toward the back of his head his hair seems to be combed down several inches until it starts into a ponytail. The ponytail falls down to around the bottom of his shoulder blades and is kept together by a gray bandage wrap. When worn without the wrap however Trent's hair is very wild and pretty hard to manage, at least for him. Moving to his face, it again is pretty plain, though it is soft to the touch and he has a small red rectangular marking that runs from his left mid-cheek diagonally off of his face.

Trent's build is also pretty average minus his strong legs. His Torso and arms aren't very muscular and neither are they flimsy. His clothes however seem to make up for his plain look by adding some personality to him. Starting from his feet he wears a pair of dark brown boot that almost look black. The bottoms of his boots are steel plated, the plating also running up the front of the boot to above his toes. The plating is also around the rim of the boots but the coating is very slim allowing him to actually put the boots on. His pants are kaki in color and are also pretty baggy, making movement for him relatively easy. Not to mention that it's very comfortable to him. The short sleeve shirt he wears is a short sleeve turtleneck made out of a light cream colored fabric that keeps him cool. The neck on the shirt is very loose, making it kind of ruffled, never really touching his neck. Over his shirt he wears a long button down pale gray vest jacket. It falls to about a quarter ways down his thighs the shoulder rims on the jacket are a light faded green color. The inside of his jacket has two special strips that can hold pokeballs on it though he can use his red belt for that. He often will be found wearing his jacket open to reveal the silver pokeball insignia on his shirt.

Personality:
Trent is a very simple person. He is very intelligent loving to study up on pokemon when he has the time. One of his goals is to be a great breeder, which helps push him to learn what he can about pokemon. He is a very caring person and shows compation towards any who need it. He has a very laid back approach toward everything knowing that it will come, only if you pace yourself properly. This leads him to seem a tad lazy to most but it's simply his lax attitude showing. In regards to battling with his pokemon he is quite serious and his ingenuity shines bright. His tactics and uses of attacks in battle make him a force to be reckoned with. The final note about Trent's personality is that he can come off as rather odd at times, as he some of his antics tend to draw attention to him.

History:
Trent comes from a regular middle class family in Accumala city with no real problems. Growing up he wasn't asked to do much, just simply to do well in school. Trent however didn't do very well in that area as his interests were more so into pokemon and skateboarding. As time would progress Trent's parents became stricter not only trying to correct his failing school grades, but protect him from the rising team Rocket threat. The more they pushed him, the more Trent wanted to become a trainer. Due to this Trent's grades began to plummet even further. Trying to escape the pressures of his home Trent turned to skateboarding as a form of stress relief.

It took him a couple of years to but after many sessions he became a rather decent boarder. He didn't attempt too many tricks but those he knew were practical and could be done on most terrains. Trent often found himself boarding to nearby clearings and just staring up at the sky. If he wasn't doing that he would just watch wild pokemon scamper about waiting for the day he could get his own. When he turned 13, Trent asked his parents if it was okay if he set off on a journey to raise pokemon. Their obvious answer was a no. They much rather see their son excelling in school and books than possibly get himself killed traveling. Also they figured with his mentality he may just give up on it and come back a failure. Putting up with his parent's discouraging words Trent whipped up the strength to leave his home and start his adventure despite their wishes. He was determined to come back an accomplished trainer.

Starer Pokemon: Tynamo
Nickname: Zero
Gender: Male
Level: 5
Nature: Docile
Moveset: Tackle, Thunder Wave, Spark, Charge Beam

Star Girl:
Name: Lily Rosemary Taylor

Gender: Female

Age:16

Physical Appearance: Having stopped growing at 4'11 Lily may be on the short side but she isn't what one would call petite. But she isn't exactly heavy either, running having kept her from getting to heavy growing up. She has very little arm muscle having always had issues developing muscle in that part of her body for an unknown reason even to her. What she lacks in her arms she makes up in her strong legs which can propel her at a fairly quick pace over a long distance. She has miscellaneous scars because she can be a klutz sometimes. She has straight long brown hair usually kept in a high ponytail with light gray eyes.

Most of the time she prefers to wear t-shirts and jeans along with a nice pair of running shoes. The shirts are usually something to deal with her two biggest hobbies books and running. Being a runner for fun she has accumulated many race t-shirts over the years. When forced to dress formal she goes for some form of flat shoes along with a formal top and skirt.

Personality: Lily is usually described by her friends as a firecracker. Usually calm and quiet until something sets the teen off. And when set off it is best to get out of her way since she tends to be extremely scary and sometimes violent. Thankfully a violent reaction is rare requiring an extreme amount of pushing her buttons. Though it can happen suddenly if you do something that makes her extremely angry like burning books. If caught doing so it is best to run for the hills because Lily takes this very, very bad.

When not on the wrong side of Lily's personality she is actually a calm and caring person. She tends to make friends easily but trust is a little less forth coming and has to be earned. Friendly to a certain extent she usually is a voice of reason and is willing to listen to almost anyone unless they do something on her 'no-no' list.

History: Lily, interestingly enough is not a native of Unova. She is actually a citizen of Hoenn by birth having been born in Rustboro City. She hasn't been back in her home country though for over 12 years having moved with her dad from there when she was four. She someday wishes to go back to her homeland but has no interest in doing so now with her only living parent and friends all residing in Unova.

Her mom passed away from an illness when she was four leaving her father to raise her. Having a new job offer and wanting to leave Hoenn behind them her father packed up their things and moved basically to the farthest place he could think of, Castellia City in Unova. Her father has yet to remarry and she has basically grown up the last few years without a form of a mother figure. Leading her to have more of a tomboyish style of things. Preferring more guy centered things over the girly things most girls favor at her age.

Starter Pokemon: Axew

Nickname: Eragon

Gender: Female

Level: 5

Nature: Sassy

Moveset: Scratch, Leer, Dragon Rage

Neiko Star:
Name: Wynn Shellstone

Age: 16

Physical Appearance: Wynn has dark, dirty blonde hair that she used to pull back into a ponytail. A curtain of hair hangs in front of her left eye, hidden because she is nearly blind in it. As people often remarked upon the resemblance between her hairstyle and the Hoenn Gym Leader Flannery's (ignoring the fact that her hair did not stick out like poles in four directions), she has flipped her hair up with large green clips. Wynn's eyes are of an olive green, though her left one is slightly lighter in color.

Wynn is of medium height, with slim, scrawny limbs and pale skin. She wears a dark olive green jacket (with a hood lined with thick, tan-colored fluff and eight pockets) over a yellow T-shirt emblazoned with a swirl of green fire. Her jeans are periwinkle blue, with a lot of pockets, both in the front and in the back. A pouch hangs from her side, fixed on the dark brown belt she has strapped to her waist. She wears a black watch on her left wrist. Wynn fears the cold, so she wears her jacket at all times, along with black fingerless gloves and a green scarf that she ties around her waist when she isn't wearing it. More often than not, she is seen with a lollipop in her mouth.

Personality: Wynn's trademark phrase is 'just in case'. She is crazy prepared for any eventuality. Her many, many pockets (and pouch) are stacked with just about anything you would need in an emergency or a not-so-emergency. She's quite organized, and stresses a lot when she is caught in a situation without all her equipment.

As mentioned before, Wynn loathes the cold (and therefore, winter). One might then question why she wears fingerless gloves instead of normal ones, as would be most logical. The thing is, among the five senses, the one Wynn privileges the most is the sense of touch, which is quite unusual. Her fingers are extremely sensible and she is very touchy about the texture of things, including her food (which is one reason she absolutely hates sparkles). She likes to think of herself as an artist, and is often torn between style and practicality, though she tries to balance both, as seen by her outfit…though her success would depend on your point of view. And as much as she likes style, she dislikes things like earrings or piercings which, in her honest opinion, serve no purpose except maybe increasing your chances of getting frostbite.

Wynn is very frank in her opinions and can be very blunt (sometimes painfully, sometimes hilariously, sometimes both). One of her biggest pet peeves is people who state the obvious.

History: Truthfully, Wynn never intended to be a Trainer. Her relationship with her parents was awkward and she found them quite distant. She lived for the majority of the year with her grandparents at their Pokemon ranch, out in the countryside, where she developed a passion for breeding. At 14, she moved permanently into the 'big city', that is to say, downtown, though she still returned to the ranch during school holidays. At first, the contrast was upsetting and she found that the city was completely different in every way from the countryside she knew: big, loud, bustling with people and activity, and, most of all, cold. It was difficult for her to adapt. The steely buildings and concrete sidewalks, the thousands of people who lived in one place without knowing each other…there was, however, one familiar thing that comforted her: the steam train. She had ridden it before, from her grandparents' ranch to the suburbs where her parents had lived, and she had watched the crimson serpent snake its way across the plains countless times.

With time, she came to appreciate the city with all that it offered. She went to a Pokemon school (a Training school, unfortunately; there were no breeding schools around her area and her parents couldn't be bothered) and graduated. She liked the fact that even in the city, Pokemon were everywhere, from the bird Pokemon nesting on roofs or pecking at seeds thrown to them by children on the sidewalks to numerous different kinds of Pokemon popularly kept as pets. After graduation, Wynn had stalled around for a bit, trying to find something to do, before realizing that there was nothing she wanted to do that didn't involve Pokemon. Of course, the easiest way to become an official, licensed Trainer was to meet Professor Juniper. So that's what she decided to do. She has been packing for the past three days.

Starter Pokemon: Tepig

Nickname: Ares

Gender: Male

Level: 5

Nature: Adamant

Moveset: Tackle, Tail Whip, Fire Oath

HunterZero:
Name: Vyke Yiro

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Appearance: Vyke is an odd looking fellow. Snow white short hair that sometimes covers his eyes. His hair stops at the end of his neck and covers his ears. Vyke is about 5'8 to 5'9 no one can really tell it seems to change each time someone or himself checks. His eyes, which he gets complemented on for being pretty are a light blue. Strangely enough his eyes have sometimes shined in the light of the stars or if the sun shines on them. His eyes have been said to look a disgusting mix of dark black and green and he looks like as if all the emotions of happiness, joy and love and been drained from him and all there is left is sorrow. On his face which is a set off for most people is a large painful looking scar on his face across his nose from one side to another. The scar now that it's healed is the same color of his skin. Speaking of which Vyke has somewhat tan skin from being outside in the sun a lot but sometimes it can look pale white. His hair sometimes is swayed to the right and sometimes his bangs go over his eyes.

Vyke is a pretty muscular guy but his body doesn't seem to show that. At first glance Vike is just a scrawny kid who probably can't do much and use to get picked on for that until he showed off his strength. He is actually pretty strong and has a muscular body compared to most people who view themselves as strong and can do things other people cannot. Vyke doesn't really care for appearance but wears his favorite colors red and black. Starting with black sneakers with a red strip going down where his ankle is on both shoes. He wears jet black jeans that look like skinny jeans but they really aren't. He wears a black belt with a skull belt buckle and the mouth of the skull opens. A jet black T-shirt under a blood red coat sometimes he has the sleeves rolled up but most of the time not. Vyke also loves to wear a pair of black fingerless gloves.

Personality: Oh boy did you really ask me this well here we go. Vyke in a nutshell can be described as cocky, laid back, egotistical, annoying and overall a nuisance. Vike loves to mouth off to adults and crack jokes and the most inappropriate times. He can be very laid back and calm in dangerous or tough situations. Vyke can be very quiet and not talk much if when he's tired or feels the people he's around are not worth talking too. He never shows fear and has a strong sense of justice and hates people who commit crime. Vike loves to get into fights with people and can figure out someones insecurities just by looking at them for a brief moment. He likes to boast about things like he better at doing things than other people and can back up what he says. If he says he can beat you at a race or game you will probably lose. Vyke can also be very mean and harsh to people at times. Vyke can sometimes steal peoples "thunder" or just ruin a moment for people. He also loves to get on peoples nerves and make them very angry it's all a game to him really.

Despite all of these thing Vyke can be the nicest person on earth to some people if he knows them and likes there company. He can be the friend that's always there for you in a troubling situation. Vyke is he opens up to you will cherish the friendship he has made. Vyke is also naturally good at pretty much any physical activity and sometimes will show off to people who think they're the best.

History: Vyke grew up with his father and mother in Nuvema Town. His father was a pokemon trainer from Kanto and his mother is a pokemon doctor from Unova. His father and mother met when his father had just came out of a pokemon battle when he visited the Unova region. His pokemon were badly injured from an intense fight with team plasma long before they were eradicated. The two fell in love and Vyke's father moved to Unova and married Vyke's mother. The two then moved to Nuvema Town they felt it was an excellent place to start a family. Unfortunately before Vyke was born his father had vanished due to some problem with team plasma. Before then his parents taught Vyke everything they knew about training and caring for pokemon. Vyke believes that his father is still alive and wanted to search for him but he was only ten at the time and his mother said he wasn't ready to start a pokemon journey yet. For the next four years his mother taught him more things and got him prepared for his journey. One day when Vyke was fourteen his mother was killed in some kind of situation dealing with a green haired boy. Enraged Vyke blamed team plasma and vowed if he ever found that boy the kill him. Vyke's next door neighbor a man named Gil took Vyke in when his mother passed and raised him like as if he was his own.

Vyke for the next two years prepared to go on a pokemon journey to become a great pokemon trainer for his father and find the green haired boy for his mother. Nothing was going to stand in his way of becoming the best pokemon trainer ever and winning the Unova league. So next stop Professor Juniper's!

Name: Melody Bennett
Gender: Female
Age: 17

Physical Appearance: Standing at roughly 5'2, which is somewhat below average female height, although she hasn't quite stopped growing yet. Melody comes from a family of fair skinned red-heads, and she doesn't step a foot out of line with that. Slightly freckled pale skin and long ginger hair which is fairly straight and reaches down just below her shoulders. Her hair curls slightly at the ends naturally, and always seems to returned to that even if it's straightened. To be fair though, Melody prefers it that way, providing she can keep her hair out of her eyes. On that note, her eyes are a pale shade of green, and show a general sense of cheerfulness that only her personality can match. Melody's form is ever-so slightly muscled from the recent travels, although its barely noticeable, and her body is slightly curved. Finally, a small, and ever-so-slightly upturned nose is accompanied by tiny dimples whenever she smiles, which is quite a lot considering her upbeat nature.

Bright colours are Melody's chosen clothing, preferably something bold like yellows or reds. Dark colours just don't suit her, finding them dull and boring. At the point which she leaves for the port, Melody wears a skirt which reaches down to just above he knees, and works rather well at protecting her legs from the sun which is inevitable on the Saliplan Islands due to the skirt being fairly loose and flowing, but still allow her legs to be cooled by the wind. Furthermore, yellow sandals (not practical for the situation, but Melody's never been that practical) are worn on her feet, although Melody will probably regret the day she brought them, since they constantly slip off of her feet. Finally, Melody wears a white sleeveless top, which fits comfortably to her body. Jewellery-wise, Melody has never been a fan of it, and as such, wears pretty much none. However, she does wear a single silver bracelet around her right wrist, which she has had since she left home for her journey.

Personality: Being somewhat older than most at starting their Pokemon journey, it would be safe to assume that Melody would be more mature than others. But within a few moments talking to her you'd realise you were wrong. Having a somewhat comfortable early life, Melody's a some-what childish character in all honesty, not having experienced some of the more fearful aspects of ordinary life, like the much more violent Pokemon of Saliplan islands. The girl's a fairly naïve character, and completely impractical, which are two odd qualities for a Pokemon trainer, and ones which really aren't useful. Still, this does leave her as a remarkably upbeat person, and rarely ever one to feel upset or depressed. Her straightforwardness often gets things done quickly, although it might occasionally sound like an insult if she's asking about something more personal, but it's not meant as that, and just her natural curiosity getting in the way of things.

Along with her childish nature, Melody seems to have a much more sideways look at the world rather than someone who is much more academic. A strong believer of Karma, Melody often tries to do the right thing, even if her lack of mental maturity may often cloud that thought. Her self-created beliefs may seem to be a little odd at times, but her Pokemon have gotten used to that kind of behaviour, or at least pretend to have. While Melody does like to keep up a cheerful atmosphere around herself and the group, there are her times, - just like anyone – when she just can't managed to keep a cheerful grin. Of course, something truly horrific has to happen for her to break down, but when it does, she really takes it hard. She can't help those emotions, but the occasional mood-swing can be a 'tad annoying.
In combat, Melody's combat style truly depends on which fighter she is using, but there is one basic point in which they all revolve around; bewilderment. If the foe becomes confused by a stream of attacks, they wont be able to counter, so that is what Melody prefers to do. Most of the time with this tactic, speed is an important factor, but not the only attribute to her style.

All in all, Melody's main love revolves around the many legends of Sinnoh and the local regions, and as such she has a wide array of knowledge on the subject. Of course, that was what also inspired her to travel to Unova in the first place. There is little knowledge of the Unova legends back in Sinnoh, and that's what Melody intends to change. She wants to learn everything there is about mythology in Sinnoh, and having a Pokemon journey there is the first step to doing just that.

History: Spending the majority of her childhood living in Celestic Town, Melody grew up a rather uneventful life. There were very few dangers or worries in the ancient settlement other than the occasional passer by. It really was a far too quiet town for Melody's liking, although it did give her the chance to gain a somewhat more cheerful outlook on life rather than an overly stressed one, and gave her time to brush up on the many legends which surround Sinnoh and its neighbouring regions. Still, things were relatively boring in the tiny town since its population was barely over a thousand. So, Melody did what every ten year old of her age did at that time, began (or at least tried to begin) her Pokemon journey. Still, things weren't that easy as Melody lacked a Pokemon, or any knowledge on the subject for that matter. And unfortunately, things stayed that way for a good while. Until of course things took a rather good turn for the young girl.

Going to the west of Celestic Town simply for a walk, Melody came across a rather rare sight. It was a Pokemon no doubt, but one which had not been seen since the beginning of time. Simply hovering in the air sat a Mesprit. Its tiny grey body, twin tails, bright pink headdress and all. It glanced at Melody before dashing off, leaving the girl to chase after the legendary Pokemon of emotion. The creature seemed to have forgotten about Melody, and quite quickly let its guard down. Melody had brought along a quick-ball with her, just for this kind of situation. Throwing the Quick Ball, the Mesprit was enveloped in light, and was sucked into the capture device. She had finally caught a Pokemon, and a legendary at that! Melody quickly ran home to tell her family the good news. Sending out the Pokemon again, Penelope was met with a slight sense of surprise and disappointment. "Ditto?" The creature that look the magnificent legendaries place was a tiny blob of purple goo, with beady eyes and a cheerful smile. A Ditto. Melody's family deducted that it must have seen the engravings in the Celestic Ruins, and took the idea of the Emotion Pokemon to heart. Still, this Ditto – soon nicknamed Robin – became Melody's first Pokemon, and she soon began to travel outside of her home town to pursue her knew goal as a Pokemon trainer at her eleventh birthday, battling gyms and capturing Pokemon along the way. It didn't last long though, as Melody simply didn't have what it took to simply leave home, and only spent about a week outside of the town before returning home. Since then, Melody spent the rest of her time at her home town, continuing the basic activities of one who does not participate in such training of Pokemon. Robin soon became like the family pet, and once or twice Melody would battle with him, often against passers by, as they would only stay for a day and then head off again. It was fun though.

However, then another opportunity arose. A chance to participate in the Unova Championship. Melody jumped at the chance, both to finally test her new skills as a trainer and to learn more about the region's mythology. While Melody felt a little dis-heartened when she found out that taking Robin would no be allowed, she still went for it, and prepared herself for the trip ahead. But of course, Unova is nothing like Sinnoh, and things are definitely going to get very, very interesting.

Wailmerz Rule:

Name: Kelli Jo Kooker
Gender: Female
Age: 13
Physical Appearance: Kelli Jo is a tall girl, standing at 5'6", though she isn't all that lankey. Her skin is of a light apricot hue, her hair is a beautifully natural shade of chesnut and her eyes are as blue as any ocean. She has delicate hands, a medium-small frame, long legs, small feet, and an average size head. On that head is a pair of small ears, a pair of those large, beatiful jewels of eyes, a small-medium nose, and a very, very big mouth. Her hair falls down her back in a long, curling ponytail that reaches to her waist. She'll usually flip it over her shoulder, however, because Pokemon usually play with it. Her bangs just usually reach two-thirds of the way down from the top of her forehead to her eyebrows.

Her clothes really define her, so we'll start from head, then down to toe. She wears an aqua bandana quite like the one May wore, except the white places on May's are black on Kelli Jo's. And there is the eyes and head space above it of a pink Maggyoon the front. Her torso is covered first with a long-sleeved plain black tee, then a short-sleeved aqua zip-up hoodie, which she usually keeps zipped because it has the pink outline of a Maggyo with a caption: "what?" Vivid blue jeans lay under a black mini-skirt adorn with multiple pink Maggyo, both of which are worn on this girl's legs. And on her feet are aqua sneakers with black detail and yet more pink Maggyo.

Personality: Kelli Jo is an outgoing girl. She loves parties, and loves when neighbors come over. She is great with kids, likes spending time with friends and absolutely hates being alone. She's a big--and I mean BIG--talker. Like one time, she went on for hours about socks. No one knows how she does it, but she does it. And she has great resoning skills. She can talk just about anyone into doing just about anything--like a CEO into a business deal.

Okay, maybe she's not that good, but good. She is a good listener when she isn't talking though, so that's a good thing. She's also a bit of a child at heart, but is mature enough. But when you get her mad, she gets serious. She just completely loses it. She either goes the passive-aggressive route, shutting down and ignoring everyone, or just screaming until she's either calmed down or finished ranting. So, yeah she's kinda crazy.

History: Kelli Jo was born in Mistralton City, and spent a lot of time as a child in Chargestone Cave.
She always played with the Tynamo and Joltik that were native to the cave and loves Electric-types. So she was surprised, one day, when she came home from the cave and realized nothing was electrically powered. She went on further to ask why, but her parents just said that it hadn't happened yet. So Kelli Jo had an idea. She went to the cave and, along with her, some copper wires and a jar. She hooked one wire up to a Tynamo, and one up to a Joltik, and put them in the jar. Then she closed the lid, and asked the Pokemon to channel some electricity into the wires. And it worked. The jar was lit up with colors numerous. Now, she knew what would happen if she touched the wires, so she kept her distance. But she was overjoyed. She thanked the Pokemon and ran home. She told her parents, but instead of being proud, they were mad and concerned. Kelli had forgotten that she hadn't told them about her trips to the cave yet. So, out of fear, they moved her as far as they could; Nuvema Town. And Kelli Jo hated it there.

She couldn't stand being taken from the Pokemon she had loved. But, on her eleventh birthday, she heard about how Professor Juniper gave Tynamo away as starter Pokemon. So, Kelli decided she would get a Tynamo for her starter Pokemon. She researched the Pokemon for the next month, and by the time of two months after, she knew everything there was to know. After that, she just got out a lot more. She wanted to get more used to different environments; Kelli hadn't been in a forest or by the sea before. So, she got to know the ways of life by these places. And so she was good. Set for life as an adventurer. So, the week before her thirteenth birthday, she tried to call in and get a Tynamo reserved for her. She kept asking, but every one ended up in a hang-up on the other end of the line. On her thirteenth birthday, she got up first thing in the morning. But what she didn't know was that "first thing" was 10:30. She was late. And, as she pushe through the doors of the lab, she saw only one ball left. And in it was a Scraggy named Tyler.

F.A.Q:

Q: Do I have to participate in Gym Battles and Contests?
A: No, you do not. This is a pretty open RP so you're free to do just about anything you'd like as long as it follows the guidelines I post.

Q: Do we have control over NPCs, Shops, and stuff like that?
A: To an extent, yes. You can control what NPCs say and do as long as you don't do anything drastic. Certain NPCs, like Gym Leaders, Elite 4, Cynthia, etc. can only be controlled by me. If you want to do a Gym Battle, send me a PM or post a message on my profile and I'll make sure I get back to you.
As for Shops, you can pretty much take control of that, but don't say that your character bought a Master Ball or Rare Candies or I'll have to warn you verbally and possibly have you removed from the RP. Also, be honest and use the prices for items in-game.

Q: When it comes to catching Pokemon, can we say that particular Pokemon is Shiny? Can we determine what level it is?
A: No. All of that is decided by me. If you describe the battle involving the Pokemon in great detail, then I'll give you the choice of having it be Shiny. As for Level, when and if you capture the Pokemon, I'll post its Level, Ability, Nature, and Moveset.

Q: Can I say I encountered and fought a Legendary Pokemon?
A: No. Legendaries are entirely off-limit to being battled or captured unless I say so. Do not send me PMs asking to battle Legendaries or I will have you removed from the RP.

Q: How do our Pokemon level-up, learn new moves and evolve?
A: At the end of each Day, I'll post an updated data sheet of your Character with their inventories, Badges, Ribbons, and Pokemon. Whether or not your Pokemon level-up, learn new moves, or evolve, is entirely based upon how often it battled that Day.

Q: Are TMs or HMs available to buy or be found?
A: No. TMs and HMs are entirely non-existent in this RP.

Q: Can we say that our characters have found items during each Day?
A: Yes, but if, and only if, it's reasonable and only if your post as a whole is typed well. No finding Max Revives or Maser Balls or Rare Candies.

Q: What about Items like Potion, or Full Heal, or Revives?
A: Items like those do not exist in this RP. Since it's steampunk, the necessary equipment to make those items do not exist. Instead, Berries are used for all means of healing. The Arcis Berry is used in place of Revive.

Q: What is the PokePedia?
A: The PokePedia is a complete guide on every single Pokemon in existence in the form of a book. It comes complete with a description, picture, along with basic statistical information on each Pokemon.

• I guess I'll start to write up my Sign-up then, eh? I just need to get the History down and then it'll be finished.

EDIT: Completed!

• All SUs have been submitted with the exception of Archipelago and Wailmerz Forever.

Once they finalize their SUs, I'll be posting the "First Day" requirements for the beginning of the RP. We'll be moving along in Days. There isn't a night phase or anything so when you post you can just go ahead and describe your character's entire day. There isn't any set time limit you need to make a post by so you're more than free to edit and add and delete at your leisure.

• Ok, I've finished off my Sign-up with the History and all that, and made a very slight addition to the Personality, although it's nothing that really changes much about the character.

RP Sample: This is from some other RP I do here.

He knew it was almost time. He had learned to watch the sun, and knew it was almost time to leave. Mellock also knew that there was an inn in Hranc, the Shrouded Swalot, that many Pokemon stayed at every day. So he was gonna hit the place. He knew of some rich-ish people that would be staying there, and they would be the only ones that he would take from. He had been there a week earlier. Well, it was more like he had snuck into the place and knew of some people who would be staying for a while who must've had something they didn't need.

So, with the scheduals he had developed from numerous stakeouts a day, he would hopefully get a couple of things needed. He got up from the floor of his cave, the one that he discovered and the one that hopefully only he knew about, and left. He camoflauged the entrance, and ran into the alleys. The cave was inside city lines, but was hidden in a shadowed corner behind some large buildings. He sped past random Pokemon, some staring, some gasping, some not paying attention. They'd seen the posters, most of them. He didn't care. He wasn't gonna stay in the little cave for long.

Going as fast as his little legs would carry him, Mellock was in a hurry. He might not have been accurate. Well, it was the first hit of the city, and he was nervous. That's all there was to it. And the inn was getting closer by the second. And closer. And closer. He could see it now, and maybe it was a bad idea. Everyone in this city knew about the place, as far as he knew. So, part of him was thinking something along the lines of, This is a bad idea. I cannot do this, I have never hit a place this big. But the other, more optomistic part was saying, Well, I think that about every place I hit. It's no different.

It got closer and closer. He wasn't getting any less nervous. But there was nothing he could do. If he wanted to live for the next week, he had to do this. So, he was finally there. He slowly opened the nearest window, and climbed in. He snuck around to the stairs, and ran up. He made his way to the first room. Footsteps, and he hid in a closet. Out of the closet, into the hallway. From the hallway to the room. He clambered onto his little knees and bent over. He reached under the bed and found what he was looking for. A jewelery box. Opened it, a necklace and ring made of gold studded with emeralds and diamonds. "Dang, I don't know anyone who could afford this if their salary was doubled," he said to himself. He reached up to his neck to put his findings in his scarf, but it wasn't there. "Ach! It must've gotten stuck in the door's shuddering!" He got up, kicked the box back under the bed, and out of the room to the closet he went. He got his scarf, and heard footsteps.

In the room.

He slowly tiptoed past, then made a run for the nearest window. What he heard next he had only heard once before. It was the peircing scream of a Whismur.

And it was headed towards him.

• Is now a bad time to ask why my SU on the first post is in six seperate Spoilers? I just thought it was rather odd in all honesty, even if it seems that it was most likely just an accident. Oh, wait, you put why it was like that in your previous post...

Hold on. I think this happened to me one time. Try and edit the post to see if any Spoiler tags have been added by mistake. I think that's how I fixed it, although I honestly don't really remember.

• Ok, I've addedall of that current information to the base of my Sign-up as you mentioned in the main post. I guess that'll I'll get my first Post up soon, eh? Considering the fact that there was a Ribbon section, I assume that we can also take on contests and stuff throughout the course of ths Roleplay? Now I'm starting to wonder which Melody should take on...

• Yes, you have complete control over what your character can do. Gyms, or Contests, or both, if you'd like. You can even avoid them all together.

If you plan on partaking in a Contest, please let me know so I can post here so any other RPers can also participate too and so we don't have multiple Contests going on in the same place at the same time.

Also, Character-to-Character interaction is encouraged, but not necessary. Whatever floats your boats ^_^

• Oh, it's much more fun to travel with the others in the Roleplay than going it alone. And Melody may enter a contest, although not yet. Later at some point, but for now she's going to get down to some cold-hard traveling.

• The Trainer Battle is separate from the Grunt battle. Also, your more than welcome to partake in more than just those two battles, but don't over do it.

At the end of the Day, I'll be posting an updated information sheet of everyone's characters. Level-Ups and such will be distributed then.

K, thanks. So, I can post catching the Lillipup, but I won't have officially caught it until you've said I did?

• It really all depends on how well you described it. If you put something like "So-and-so walked into the tall grass and found a wild Lillipup. So-and-so throws an Apricorn Ball at it!" Then, obviously, you're not going to capture it.
