Is there like a set for a mixed Dragonite that includes Extremespeed?

Yeah, but its an anti lead set.

    Basically;

    Dragonite@Life Orb
    Quiet Nature
    252 Att / 252 Sp.At / 6 Speed
    - Draco Meteor
    - Earthquake / SuperPower
    - Fire Blast
    - Extremspeed

Dunno how effective it is since ive never used it. You will want something to absorb sleep or Smeargle, Roserade etc will just crush you.

I guess it can come back later in the game but eh. :/

Ughh i should make a guide on how to make weather teams too. ~_~

Your team is Surf/Waterfall weak. :/

Your whole team doesnt have to be immune to SS, that is really silly. Get some versatility in there for goodness sake, seriously lol

Im trying to use registeel in OU . Is thier any pokemon that can give it opportunities to switch in or a really cool set that helps other pokemon like something similar to passho berry steelix. The OU tank set on smogon seems boring. Thank you very much

World Ability ribbon is like the other Ability ribbons, you get it from the Battle Tower in DPPt and HGSS. World Ability comes from Wi-Fi streaks.

describing what this dude posted, the first one is a lead set, it gurrantees you to set up SR and wall Swellow if used for later stages.

the second one is its curse set, just use as much curse as you want and sweep with your Gyro ball. Chesto Berry is an option if you're opt to you Rest over Explosion.

Does Gyro Ball still work if it have 19 IVs in Speed?

it still works, using Sassy can help.

Recently I have seen alot of what I call sweeper teams.

I have been reading lots of team building guides that say not to do that.

Can someone clarify this for me.

Also can someone tell me what RMT and OU mean.

Sorry if I am asking nooby questions

  • RMT = Rate My Thread
    OU = Overused

OU is a tier for competitive battling. There are 5 tiers, uber, OU, BL, UU, NU. Someone else will have to expand on that.

My turn! Calm Kyogre! Me wants bulky! Set please?

  • Don't know much about ubers, but a viable set would look like

    252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4SpA

    Calm Mind
    Hydro Pump/Surf
    Thunder
    Substitute/Toxic

So you're able to take a groudon's EQ at least once if it hasn't swords danced. Calm Mind boosts your SpA and SpDef allowing you to set up subs, or Toxic to increase damage over a long period of time. Max HP to prevent seimic toss blissey from ruining your fun. this is off from the top of my head

I read a guide that said that a team should include a shuffler, a physical sweeper, a special sweeper, a tank, an annoyer, and an additional sweeper.

Recently I have seen alot of RMT all sweeper teams. Is it okay to do that. I am kind of a noob at pokemon so thank you for your patience.

  • It's important to have your team focus around doing a specific thing, otherwise it just falls apart. You can't have half stall and half sweeping, basically you can't pull of either one with a team like that. Basically there are a few different types of teams:

Heavy Offense - 6 sweepers, rely on resistances / sacrifices to get pokemon in

Bulky Offense - A few sweepers (most of the time there are one or more setup sweepers) and a few tanks. Focuses on opening up a sweep for the few sweepers but not getting swept yourself

Stall - 6 walls, occasionally 5 + cleanup pokemon. Uses entry hazards, spinning, spin blocking shuffling and walling to stop sweeps and win.

The rest of the teams are less used because they aren't as effective, such as Weather teams, Sunny Day teams, Baton Pass teams and the like.

You don't need to stick to such a rigid setup, try out stuff and see if they work. Bulky Offense is a good starting point, it is the most reliable setup (unless you're ginger, in which case it is stall)

Hey I need ideas for this Luke set and a supporter Pokemon:

    Request a Moveset / Simple Q&A / Breeding Questions

    Lucario @ Life Orb
    Timid nature
    EVs: 6 HP/252 SpA/252 Speed
    -Calm Mind
    -Aura Sphere
    -Dark Pulse
    -Wacuum Wave

I'm thinking Zapdos would be the best supporter.

I'd personally go for Shadow Ball > Dark Pulse to get neutral coverage on everything with Aura Sphere.

Zapdos would do well as a supporter eliminating stuff like Gliscor, Mence and Gyarados which can end his sweep. LODos would probably be best here but a more defensive variant could work.

    Zapdos @ Life Orb
    Nature : Timid
    EV : 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe
    - Thunderbolt
    - Heat Wave
    - Hidden Power [Ice]
    - Roost

Um doens't Dark Pulse=Shadow Ball as far as coverage goes. Dark and Ghost both are good against only Psychic and.

I was thinking more or an Agility passer Zapdos set.
