Vibrava's attack stat is lower than Trapinch's attack stat.

Trapinch and Flygon both have the same attack stat.

Spiritomb is not unlocked until you meet 32 people underground, not 30 like people have always suggested.

A few more tibits of interest:

Porygon2 is the only pre-generation V Pokémon to lack an animié voice, as it has never appeared in any episodes on the show beyond stock art. Porygon-Z, though never appearing in the show either, gained a voice through its (or for the Z in particular, his) appearance in Poképark Wii.

Porygon seems to become less restricted by its coding as a species in the Mystery Dungeon series as time passes. In the first games, Porygon would speak five preset sentences in a mechanical voice and little else, reflecting on the fact that it could not function beyond its programed perimeters.
In Explores of Time and Darkness, which presumably takes place after the events of Red/Blue rescue team, Porygon are able to speak on their own, a bit in a broken voice. They would pause between words and phrases, showing that they had difficulty communicating naturally, but their phrases seem to indicate that they feel happy towards the team leader and are eager to help the team's efforts in any way they can.
In the special episode on Explorers of Sky, taking place even further in the future, Grovyle and Dusknoir encounter two Porygon, presumably chased out of Temporal Tower quite some time ago. These Porygon are not only able to speak fluidly, but also show the ability to show emotions such as fear, something that was not indicated in their original programing and only added onto Porygon2 and beyond.

In the mystery Dungeon series, Alakazam has a lower base Special Attack then Kadabra.

Did you know that a Kadabra trading card hasn't been produced since Skyridge, which was released October 4, 2002.

Despite not having any legs Dusknoir can have the move Mega Kick by teaching a Dusclops it through Move Tutor in Gen III and then trading to Gen IV and evolving.

Despite Hidden Power being a Normal Type move it cannot be Normal Type.

IDK if these have been mentioned, but: Desukan can turn humans into mummies. Even though Emboar attacks with speed and power, its base Speed of 65 is one of its lowest stats.

    A few facts:

    • Satoshi Tajiri is midly autistic.
    • The Blastoise with the nickname Shellshocker in the First Pokemon Movie can not be possible because you cannot name a Pokemon beyond 10 letters/numbers.
    • Ash & Co seem to have sheds loads of money because after a battle there is no sign of money exchanging hands like in the videogames.
    • If Ash got Pikachu and Gary got Squirtle who got Bulbasaur and Charmander.
    • Manaphy is the only Legendary Pokemon that can breed and thus the only way you can get Phione without trading, events or cheating.
    • The only Pokemon games that have not had sequels beyond Gameboy Color are Pokemon Trading Card Game, Nintendo 64 are Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium 1 + 2, Pokemon Puzzle League and Hey You Pikachu, Gamecube are Pokemon Collesseum and Pokemon XD Gales of Darkness.
    • Pokemon is Nintendo's Second biggest game francise beaten by Mario and followed third by Zelda. (Correct this one if I'm wrong)

Despite being called Seaking, Slaking, Slowking and Slowbro, they can all be female.

Despite being made up of vines, Tangela couldn't learn Vine Whip in Pokemon Red and Blue.

Spoink is in the middle of the National Dex having 324 Pokemon before and after it.

"Nine-tails" was what slave owners used to call a commonly used whip with nine ends on it.

Did you know that Isshu is the only main region* to have its name changed in the translation? Now it's called Unova.

*By main region I meant the ones that are featured in the main games (Gold, Sapphire...) and not in the spinoff games (like Ranger or PMD).

Pokemon with Soundproof can still hear the PokeFlute in FRLG

APPARENTLY in Leaf Green the machine right under the lady on the far left has the best chances of winning

In a double battle, if both of your Pokemon have Amulet Coin the winnings wont stack (A.I 500 x (2x2))

    Strange Pokémon Facts!

Just a normal Wobbuffet, right? Read these.

Saphire Pokedex: Wobbuffet does nothing but endure attacks - it won't attack on its own. However, it won't endure an attack on its tail. When that happens, the Pokémon will try to take the foe with it using Destiny Bond.

Emerald Pokedex: Usually docile, a Wobbuffet strikes back ferociously if its black tail is attacked. It makes its lair in caves where it waits for nightfall.

Now take another look at Wobbuffet's tail. It has eyes. Wobbuffet does everything in its power to avoid being hit there and goes into a fury if it is. It's body is seemingly built to grab attention, what with its crazy expression and loud cries, while the tail is a dark colour and is seemingly made to be concealed. The tail itself is Wobbuffet. The blue body is clearly just a decoy. One we all fell for. The same goes for Wynaut as well.

Garchomp can learn surf, but not waterfall. Which makes this very annoying seeing that Flygons has the exact same typing as Garchomp, but it cannot learn surf nor waterfall. Which leads me to this: Dragonite can learn both surf and waterfall, but Salamence and Altaria, again, has the same typing as Dragonite but cannot learn surf nor waterfall.

    This is very, very annoying.

    Did you know that:

Kingdra was the only dragon type added in the second generation?

Despite being the "Dragon Master", Lance's only dragon type pokemon in every battle are of the Dratini family until HeartGold and SoulSilver's rematch against him?

In Crystal version Lance is more of a Flying type trainer than a dragon type trainer?

In GSC there are 251 pokemon and 251 moves?

EDIT: Grimer can breed yet according to the pokedex it doesn't need to (all it needs to do is move in a line)?

The GSC starters are the only ones to stay fire water and grass throughout their evolutions?

The design on Venusaur's flower have changed every generation?
In gen I it has 6 petals
in gen II it has 5 round, pink petals with white spots
in gen III it has 5 round, red petals with yellow spots
in gen IV it has 6 square-ish red petals with yellow spots
in gen V it has 6 square-ish dark pink petals with light pink spots

'Ekans' is 'snake' backwards, and 'Arbok' is 'Kobra' backwards.

If you look at the names Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, each one contains a number written in Spanish.

tornelos is a pure flying type meaning if it uses roost it becomes no type. to counter this, gamefreak removed roost from the tm list.:( espeon shares the same species name as sunflora and ulgamoth.

The sole non-Electric-type to learn the move Spark is Barboach (by breeding with Chinchou/Lanturn).

Voltorb and Electrode did not exist before the development of Poké Balls; they first appeared in the factory where the balls were being developed, and seem to be an accidental side-product of ball production.

Grimer are piles of toxic sludge that came to life after being exposed to X-rays from the moon.

Despite it being stated on multiple occasions that looking into a Lunatone's eyes traps you in a state of mind-numbing, paralysing fear, Lunatone cannot learn Glare.

Magneton are usually sprited as being physically connected - yet in every 3D game, they are shown as being three separate entities, loosely joined by lines of lightning.

Marowak were apparently supposed to evolve into kangaskhan, and the infant in the kangaskhans pouch was a cubone without its mothers skull on its head. This makes sense because kangaskhan hatch from eggs already with the infant in its pouch, however, khangaskans skull would be way too big to fit on cubones head.

Soorry if this hasalready been posted :D
