I haven't touched Awakening since I finished the story. Now that I spent $4.99 towards Pokebank, my funds towards any kind of Awakening DLC are running lower..

As for the topic, my favorite chimes are:
1:26 - Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem (reminds me of the track from Super Smash Bros.)
4:33 and 5:02 sound very similar to the above, but I didn't like the higher pitch noises.
7:31 is quite good though!
Oh, and I love Awakening's just for the nostalgia. I really should replay this one and not use the overpowered children. That's what ruined it for me...

Shadow Dragon's recruitment theme, because it was the first Fire Emblem music the U.S. audience and I have heard thanks to its remix in Melee. It's so energetic compared to the other recruitment themes.

welcome! reinforcements really are annoying arent they? just when you get into a stable condition bam they just have to come and ruin everything also i thought i was the only one who married anna she really is awesome ^^ i hope you enjoy your time here ^^

I suppose I should elaborate. Not all reinforcements are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Reinforcements, but the particularly annoying ones like the Peg Knights in Darin's chapter of FE7 that go after Merlinus. FE6 also gets a mention for all of its reinforcements arriving at the beginning of the enemy phase as opposed to the end, so they can show up, move, and kill your squishies in one turn. Most are just free exp tho :)

When it comes to best Fire Emblem protagonist, I got to go with Hector. As for why I chose that, when viewing FE7 from FE6, Hector's tale in FE7 looks canon.

Lack of Warp Staffs in Awakening

I think Sully and Stahl look the best together

I'd go for either 7 or 8. I dabbled in Thracia 776 but uh, kinda stopped maybe halfway, beat Sword of Seals, Blazing Sword, Sacred Stones, Shadow Dragon and Awakening.

Lyn #biased She's just one of those lords that when they're good you can pretty much send them into anything and batter them. Though I guess Hector is kinda brilliant like that too. Eliwood takes too much effort to get good for me usually, Sacred Stones is too easy for it to matter, Roy's rubbish, Marth is okay, and Chrom's alright I guess though he's just pairing material most of the time for my avatar, heh.

3-10 range spells make me die inside. Especially when there's a ton of users of them on a map.

Rise to the Challenge from FE7 was a great battle theme where YOU KNEW THINGS WERE GETTING SERIOUS. I also really liked the Companions map theme there. FE8's best map theme was prolly Truth, Fear and Hope though there wasn't much I was fond of there. FE11's Preparation music was surprisingly good. Also a big fan of the Liberty map theme like. (are we getting the idea about me really liking the mid game map themes?) FF13's world map theme is absolutely beautiful A+++ would be able to sit on the world map forever. tl;dr: I like some odd themes.

warp staffs are much missed in awakening ;_; Sully and Stahl's supports are among my favorites because they mention Cain and Abel and aspire to be like them. also i know what bishop you're talking about that one is annoying as hell i remember getting through that chapter barely with save states because i was using many pre-promotes to fill up the remaining gaps in my army (and lorenz's speed sucked making him getting doubled by EVERY enemy on the map) >.<

i'd say you also need to try out shadow dragon and new mystery of the emblem since they're the first ones chronologically though i must say shadow dragon is my least favorite fire emblem game. gba games are a good start too though pick whichever one you like but if you're gonna play binding blade play blazing sword first because blazing sword is a prequel to binding blade so you'll be more familiar with some characters.

ugh for some reason none of the lords except Hector and Ike turn out good for me. Roy and Eliwood suck as combat units (without their sacred weapons anyway) Lyn always turns out lacking in strength and defense for me essentially killing her usefulness since she is so fragile and Marth is no good because he lacks promotion and has less levels to gain compared to normal units. also Sigurd is a pre-promote so he is not very useful without the tyrfing. i like all of them besides their combat abilities though

also a big welcome to all of you!

on another note if anyone wants to make Virion a Wyvern Lord because they think he will turn out good for some reason... well he doesnt. just to let you know.

BEXP only being in two games. It gives more of a choice for the gameplay like for whether you want to challenge yourself or just play easy for the story value (though admittedly there's not much story value in this series IT'S STILL THERE).
