  • *points up several posts* I promised you a cookie if you posted. You posted. I gave you a cookie. Actually, you posted twice. *hands over another cookie* No catch, just cookies. ^^

@dc_united;; Basically, the ship docked, Chris gave us a lovely motivational speech, and we all set out for Chipper City, split into two groups (one headed by Isabel and Chris, the other led by Beo and Greg). But unless I'm mistaken, Greg and Beo seem kind of alone in their group, so you may want to find them. ^^

I would post now, but my sister wants the computer. Curses.

  • OMNOMNOM, COOKIE! <3 Yaaay, thanks.

So, just a heads up, college starts this week, and-- perhaps more time consuming-- my 6 dance classes start next week. So if I post a little slow sometimes, that's why until I adjust to the new schedule.

  • I just lost my entire post when I tried to post it. I really want to strangle something right now... >< Though in rewriting it, I realized that "new" is a rather strange word. Anyway, it's just some fluff about Audrey's thoughts going of on another tangent, and then more of Audrey being oblivious. I kinda enjoy how much she fails at life. xD

You're welcome for the cookie~ *noms on one herself*

  • omg.
Today I started working on a prototype drawing (aka crappy outline of a body in inkpen so I can use pencil and erase repeatedly) of Sheila's tattoos.
    I have about 3 Pokemon drawn on her and I'm already going insane. @_@;;;

  • Okey-dokey, here's the sequel to the Uprising! I always seem to be late in joining, but at least this time I'm only, like, two pages behind rather than fifty, you know? So... I'm back~! And here's my signup.

    -

    Name: Rosary (Sar) Camellia Ryan
    Age: 20
    Gender: Female

    Appearance
: Her appearance had changed drastically since partaking in the rebellion three years ago - so much so, that it was doubtful that those who'd known her back then wouldn't recognise her now.

When she was younger, she had died her hair deep blue in a mini rebellion against her father. However, she had let it grow out naturally and cut it short so that her hair, a sandy blonde colour with orange and brown streaks, reached halfway down her neck and flipped outwards at the ends. She had large, blue-gray eyes, long lashes, a small nose and high cheekbones, but her basic facial structure was masculine and her lips thin.

She was short and lean, not having grown at all despite her ravenous appetite and the amount of exercise that was demanded of her. Nevertheless, she was very fit and lightly tanned. Her casual attire consisted usually of a long, grey overcoat thrown over a plain black shirt, black long-shorts, and sneakers. She only ever wore small, silver studs in her bellybutton and left lobe although she had numerous other piercings in her ears - a relic from her younger years. She was also never without a pair of blacked out sunglasses that completely covered her eyes and a couple of black, fingerless gloves.

Another necessity in her outfit was a black bag which rested against her right hip, the strap looping over her opposite shoulder. It contained no less than two pistols, numerous bullets, a first aid kit, and her emergency supply of food, water and potions, as well as a deep blue sweater. On her person she carried her official gun, her baton, her badge, her Pokeballs, and a few pairs of handcuffs.

Personality: She had always disliked orders and clung to independence. This meant that although she would help others when she deemed necessary, she would not accept any on her own behalf. She knew she was a hypocrite and had no qualms in being one. Lately, Sar had come to accept the fact that some orders really were sometimes for the best, but she figured it was her job to decipher which orders were worth obeying and which ones could be disobeyed. She gave none of her loyalty to the government, her superiors and her coworkers if she deemed them unworthy of it.

Once a person had Sar's respect, however, they couldn't find anybody trustworthier. She never left a friend behind and, as a rule, she didn't pry into the business of others as well as never letting things out of her confidentiality. Actually, unless she was mad, she didn't really talk much at all. She relied upon gestures most of the time, regarding words as fickle and often misunderstood, even when it wasn't meant to be. This was why she always looked into a person's eyes when they were talking to her – eyes didn't lie quite so easily. She despised liars, the manipulative, bullies, and certain cowards who would push their problems onto others and feel good about it. Sar thought that human's were naturally evil; every single person lied or used trickery to make the way a little easier for themselves to the detriment of those around them. She had gleaned this from experience and from the actions of her father who, despite the fact that it had been three years since she'd last seen him, still hovered in the back of her mind. This was why she had always had a slight fascination with people who were nice and sincere. She also had a maternal disposition towards young children and Pokemon, finding it easier to talk to them than to people in her own age group. She always seemed distant, and didn't make friends easily. So far, in her whole life, she only really had six; and five of them were her Pokemon.

History: She was brought up in a lovely little home in a small town of Katsu. Her mother had been a sweet, if rather young woman with a passion for flowers who would have been completely content to just stay at home and tend to the garden. Sar's father, on the other hand, had been a polar opposite. He had been brought up in a strict family that had regarded women as little more than domestic maids and had also believed in aliens, often trying to drag his family to the various sightings of space Pokemon located in far-off regions. When, for some reason, his wife refused to accompany him, he would go by himself for months at a time. As he grew older and they became more distant, he became more aggressive, arrogant and controlling. They divorced eventually, when Sar was seven. Her mother had left her in the custody of her father and she soon became bitter of the dictatorship he held in their house, coupled with his constant absence altogether. He would tell her that her mother hated her and never wanted to see her face again as well as constantly reminding his child that she was a failure. And so she pushed people away and found solace in Pokemon.

She found out that he was trading with illegal arms when she was thirteen and used to practice with them whenever her father went away on one of his trips. When the signs came up, however, condemning Pokemon and anything to do with them, her father had been one of the foremost to obey. He had gone into her room just as she finished packing her supply bags, threatening to shoot her or her filthy Pokemon. This left Sar no choice but to run away, wildly hoping that there were some people who didn't wish to obey the governments crazy demands just because they demanded it.

After several weeks of travelling, she arrived at the last place that didn't cave to the government, Frosty Gorge, almost immediately before the Uprising's famous last stand had taken place. She participated in the battle although she hadn't actually been acknowledged as a member by the leader and fell unconscious by the end of it. She was transported to Johto by a friend and set off to find who she really was. Ironically, despite her loathing of figures of authority and her experience with PXS, she became a police officer. In spite of her proficiency with guns, her ability to keep her cool, sort disputes, and her high success rate in tracking and capturing criminals, she had never gotten above the post of a constable due to her slight disregard for the importance of orders.

  • Sweet_Dreams: Looks great. You're accepted. If Sar feels like obeying orders, it would probably be preferable to go in the Greg and Beo's "group". I don't want them to get too lonely x3

  • Hm... I think I'll meet them by accident, if that's alright with you? It's all the same, anyway. I just can't see Sar being too willing to go back to the Uprising, but she'll come round. :P

Ah! Should I post the SU on the main thread? Although I think that if I do, it'd break the flow of the rp? I could do what I did last time and tell people to look here instead...

  • Hey, guys. I'll be leaving on a trip tomorrow and I won't be back until Monday. If there's anything you want to get done before we arrive in Chipper City, I suggest you do so before I return. I place the default backup leaders in charge without asking them first (sorry x3). Just make sure the RP doesn't explode, k?

    ...

    Hi guys. Remember me?

    Name: Ashleigh "Ashi" Summers
    Age: 23
    Gender: Female

    Spoiler:

Appearance: Ashi's dismally uncolourful attire is no more. She now wears something a little more colourful, including a large, cargo coat, with a yellow star on the left sleeve, a black and white singlet top and a pair of blue denim shorts. Her PokéBeads are also gone, with one remaining as a necklace and the rest of her Pokémon carried in the bag on her maroon belt. Her eyes are a dark brown and her hair is dark silver, held into place by a loose braid, which falls to about mid-torso.

Personality: Ashi still holds a somewhat "I don't really care what you think" attitude, now softened after the 3 year gap. She now gives limited attention out and talks more, but still hates younger trainers and members. When needed, Ashi takes charge of the situation and tries to lead others as a senior member of the Uprising. She has a tenancy to overreact, but has a soft-side for her family, Pokémon and partner. Although not so cut out on revenge, Ashi still hates the PXS and her main goal is to bring peace to Katsu.

Background: Ashi is an ex-gym leader of Katsu, specialising in the dark type. After an attack on her gym, Ashi swore vengeance on the PXS and anyone involved with them. She spent 2 years in Hoenn only to venture back to Katsu and join the Uprising so that she could one day achieve her goal of destroying the PXS.
After her adventures with the Uprising and their split after the attack at Frosty Gorge, Ashi fled with her brother, Josh and a fellow half-member Sar to the Johto region, back home to her family. The three of them split, with Sar heading to some unknown and Josh back to his family (who had recently moved back to Johto) and Ashi off to find new Pokémon around the world. After the attack at Frosty Gorge, she promised herself to never to let her Pokémon, friends or family ever be so close to death and she would protect those who she considered her own family.
During the gap, Ashi worked as a courier, never staying in the same place twice. Whilst in Blackthorn City, delivering a Pokémon, she met Alastor Rigby, the receiver of the package. Alastor told her that the Pokémon had been shipped from Katsu and was a surviver from a great battle at Frosty Gorge. After letting slip she had been at Frosty Gorge, Alastor asked her more about it and before she knew it, she was telling him about how she had been a gym leader and a member of the Uprising. Alastor now joins Ashi as her boyfriend and irreplaceable partner.
Three years later, she returns with new Pokémon, new clothes and a new partner ready to join the Uprising again.
