Nah, I'll just grab as much manga as I can while I'm lounging around at campus, 'cause over there is pretty much the only location I know that doesn't have an ISP that blocks the likes of reddit and imgur.

I worry for this world where HanaKana exists. She's not a bad voice actor, but her influence scares me; it's almost religious.

But what scares me the most is that people her fans instantly like characters or even media that have her in them, regardless of how good they are.

I'm seriously afraid of her influence. Like, she's just your everyday seiyuu, but people praise her like she's a goddess, not to mention they watch every show where she plays a role. And I dare not mention that one PC member that does so, 'cause we all know who he is anyway.

It was so expected it didn't surprise me at all... And maybe that's why I didn't get enough feels from the ending. I'll be missing it, but the outcome was expected.

Even without megami-sama, Kosaki (we should switch it, now that her imouto is in the cast as well) would still be the most popular heroine (taken from popularity polls).
The true tests were Rize (Tokyo Ghoul) and especially Seryuu (Akame ga Kill) :P

That's even more terrifying. At least when I thought it was a HanaKana thing, the popularity made sense.

Otherwise...it still makes sense, I guess, but more for the reason that a person with the personality of "girl" or "male accessory" would be popular- it's just because they're perfectly subservient waifu material. It makes me sad, really, I can't support this trend of two dimensional 2D girls with the aforementioned personalities being the most popular characters in anime. Worst is, it's not going to go away because they're popular as hell.

...But that's not to say HanaKana is blameless in this, she definitely plays a role in this with Kosaki and other flat characters (not to say that it's a trend with her, exactly, but she certainly perpetuates it).

And then I was reminded about Pandora Hearts. And then I was reminded that most of the manga sites I've frequented are blocked, even the obscure ones. And thus, I have to use a proxy to read, and that'll kill my bandwidth...

Like, government, I know you're trying to block porn since imgur and reddit are blocked for that reason, and manga sites got into the list as well, but out of all sites why don't you block the yaoi doujin sites? Like, YAOI DOUJIN!

Bah... guess I'll have to wait 'til the volume release in Indonesia... hopefully sometime this year, probably at the middle or the end... I can't wait that long...

I guess so, since not all people buy the original source like me. At the same time, not all the manga we read are licensed over here, and only recently do they start licensing a lot of them, so it'll take a long time to reach the latest chapters. Because of that, fans are mad.

I mean, I'm okay with that and all, but Assassination Classroom has yet to be licensed, as well as a whole bunch of titles I follow, so yeah.

Plus, I thought the main goal of the whole internet censorship is to block nudity and porn. :/

While on the topic of BL, Free! was cool at one point until this doujin I once found on Mangahere ruined it for me...yes, I know Free! is not a BL anime, but there's doujin out there like that since the hints are strong.

Don't get me wrong, I attend cons and buy doujins as well. Although, yeah, I guess I should refer to the lewd ones specifically as to not confuse with other kinds of doujins.

Well I'm not being bias about yaoi, it's just that... you're blocking sites with porn. That's the main agenda to the internet censorship. Like, if I were the government, sites that heavily focuses on yaoi, yuri, and all the genres like that will be blocked. I'm thinking on an objective scale right now, even if that means I won't get to see my bbys having BL haha.

But yeah, lewd yaoi doujins gets past the check, especially since Indonesia is quite the religious country, and gay marriage is a big no no here, so it makes zero sense.

Hey, I'm not a yaoi fangirl but even I have to admit that there were some homosexual undertones in that show, especially in the second season. It felt like a love triangle between Haruka, Rin and Sousuke. Regardless, I still enjoyed it...I guess. So, them doujins are expected.

I mean, if there's any two guys in any anime/manga that show a hint of 'more than friends', there's a hentai about it. Or like, anything really. Rule 34 at work right there.
