You've asked for political philosophies, not political parties.

I'm registered as an independent, but I'm leaned towards the more democratic liberal side. I support their views more so than I do that of those conservative reps.

But I'll be honest- Its always better to completely judge the opposing parties with a (near) NON BAISED view, which is very difficult, but important.

Screw democracy, <3 technocracy. Till then, I prefer a more left-wing stance - I suppose you could say I'm a socialist. Sadly, however, the problem with the UK's main lefty party, the Liberal Democrats, is that they never go into details on their policies, so it's impossible to really know what you're getting. They're stuck in a vicious cycle - nobody ever votes for them so they never draft up decent policies, and they never draft up decent policies so nobody ever votes for them.

Instead, UK citizens are generally forced to float between voting for the conservative party and the labour party. Labour's generally quite incompetent right now, so I'd bet that everyone's going to be voting for conservative next general election.

I'm not old enough to vote, so I don't really get a choice in the matter, but if I had to vote, I suppose I would vote conservative as well. It's the exact opposite to my ideal party - but hey, if this were an ideal world, why would we need government?

  • I call myself a liberal, but that's mainly due to my social values.

I am a strong supporter of the LGBT community and I'm also strongly against the death penalty.

But on the other hand I'm against abortion... So I'm a bit weird.

    And it's "I couldn't care less," btw :3

Yes, thank you. I hate it when people say "could care less", it's now what they're wanting to say!
