Well, I have a powersaves so I can have multiple save files for challenges. (Don't worry, I don't hack, I hate hacking/cheating unless it's for challenges like Solo runs or cloning).

My finished file team is:

Gallade @Galladite (My Pokemon catcher, really useful for legendaries)
- Thunder Wave, False Swipe, Power-Up Punch, Earthquake

Sharpedo @Sharpedonite (HM Slave, but still trained because he's strong)
- Surf, Waterfall, Dive, Strength

Regice (My contest star, got Master Rank in Beauty very easily)
- Frost Breath, Icy Wind, Flash Cannon, Explosion (I use this the last turn and get 8+ hearts)

Tyrantrum (Traded him over from X, one of my best on the team)
- Crunch, Stone Edge, Brick Break, Dragon Claw

(Shiny) Metagross@Metagrossite (Got from the event)
- Power-Up Punch, Iron Head, Earthquake, Hold Back

I recently bred a shiny Aron, which I will train and add to my team eventually.

Started Alpha Sapphire today and played about 40 minutes. My team right now is:

Mudkip (Chipper) lvl. 14
Wingull (flan) lvl. 9

We just made it to Rustboro city and I think we'll train a littlem ore before we take on the gym. If I remember correctly, the gym leader sues rock type Pokemon so it should be an easy victory.

So I picked up Alpha Sapphire for the first time since getting it with Omega Ruby, and have another run going on here. I only got to Petalburg at this point and haven't gone through the woods yet, but my team is currently Mudkip and Taillow, and i'll be getting Whismur once i'm at Rustboro City.

Feraligatr, Furfrou, Cyndaquil, Cubone and Sceptile... oh and a swablu too.


I kinda made kyogre a HM slave because I was at this cave and wasn't bothered to fly all the way back just to switch pokes... Has strength, rock smash and surf...

Nothing too fantastic, the game was rather easy with these Pokémon.

Ever since Sapphire version, way back on the GBA, I've tried to have the same team setup whenever I play a Pokemon game. They may not be the same Pokemon ported from game to game, but the setup's always the same. I always go Water starter > Grass-type (Torterra from Gen IV onwards) > Fire-type > Electabuzz (Electivire from Gen IV onwards) > Steel/Dragon-type > Flying-type. Alpha Sapphire was no different, thanks to PokeBank. When I finished the Elite Four on my official run--not counting the first run, before the Delta Episode shenanigans--my team was finalized:

Swampert, Torterra, Darmanitan, Electivire, Rayquaza.

Right now, my current team I assert my authority over the E4 with is:
Royce, Lv. 100 Swampert (bred in AS)
Sproutroot, Lv. 100 Torterra (ported from PokeBank, bred in X/Y)

Since my last post, I added Gloom, Tentacool and Swablu to my team, and have got through Meteor Falls and will be headed to Mt. Chimney later. This is on Alpha Sapphire, and I look forward to being able to use Mega Altaria. That'll be fun.
