4th Gen Which gym took the longest to beat

It took me about three hours to beat Crasher Wake, and it wouldn't have happened if I hadn't used all my money on Super Potions and the like. I had started with Chimchar, so he didn't stand a chance. And the rest of my team weren't too good against Wake either. In fact, I had to go and find a Shinx and train him up a bit in order to beat the guy. Wasn't the funnest gym ever, really.

The ice one took me hours. Finally, without using YouTube, I beat it (:

The puzzles in the gyms were easy.
I had no trouble with any of the gym leaders whatsoever, since the game's AI is Pathetic.
I emphasise the point that the game's AI is pathetic with the fact I was able to beat Pokémon Pearl using ONLY A HOPPIP.
Yes, It was unevolved.

I can't say I was stuck on any of them

In fact, I never blacked out once in a D/P gym

The gym that took the longest to beat would have to be the Ghost gym

The Ice gym puzzle took forever.
Besides that, the gyms weren't hard at all. The grass gym was a little challenging though. At the time my only pokemon were a Prinplup and an Onix.
