    Moriaty,
Try positioning yourself a meter or half a meter away.

    A. your router is tempramental.
    B. the ds has 10meters wifi range.

I'm in the UK, strangely enough it works perfectly in the GTS in game. lol It's just when connecting to certain other people in trades etc that it wont work.. -_-' And I'm normally always next to the router, and there's no mention on the nintendo WiFi sites about my router being neither compatible nor incompatible..

  • Hi, I have a Nintendo Dsi and I have an active broadband account. To connect wirelessly I got a Nintendo Wifi Usb connector. Everything installed perfectly and the registration tool found my Dsi and granted it access. When I did the connection test though, it said unable to connect to the internet. Check your connection settings and access point settings... Error code: 052203-1.
    Help me please!

  • Eh... So I, for some insane reason, trusted my computer illiterate mom to get me a 'router'. Instead, she got a usb connector and it's driving me insane, been trying to set it up for three hours.

    It's one of these things:
    https://cgi.ebay.com/USB-2.0-Wi-Fi-...-Lite-New_W0QQitemZ120475675204QQcmdZViewItem

It didn't come with the setup disc first, and the setup wizard found a driver. Now it's looking for a connection rather than creating one...?

I can program in four languages but I can't set up a wifi adapter. I fail.

Edit: Nevermind, ticked me off and I hacked the drivers. Works now. lol

  • Nintedo DS Wi-Fi connector

I'm curious to as if I can use a Linksys Wireless-G with speedboost (usb plugin) will work as the Nintendo DS WiFi connector, and if possible, how Can I get it to work?

Also, I HAVE a router but It has WPA2-TKIP protection and DS lite doesn't not support that. So I'm trying to get the USB connector to work.
So, The question is, Will my Linksys USB wireless-G adapter work if I plug it into my laptop and run the Nintendo WiFi connector drivers?

  • Uhhh.
    Never even considered that before.
I don't think it would work if I am honest, the drivers would still be looking for the technology in the USB, but don't quote me on that...

  • Nintendo WiFi Connection Problem?

    O.K,

So since I'm too lazy to get my own Nintenedo WiFi (XD), I use my neighbours.

I used to have to go into my backyard to use it but two nights ago, I got the signal in my room! Yahz!

But yesterday night, without warning, it stopped working. It stopped working after being in service for more than a year!

I was really peaved cuz I'm trying to get an Adamant Groudon for my Hoenn legendary collection.

But it worked for 5 minutes this morning, enough time for me to deposit a Shiny Metagross into the GTS.

    But now it won't work.

I tried another "open" connection, but the same thing happened to me.

First, 3 bars. Than after 30 seconds, 1-2 bars, than finally no bars.

Is my DS wifi signal thingy broken or is it the wifi connection?

    I NEEDZ HELPA!

    Please help me guys!

I really needed wifi to get all the Hoenn legendaries!

  • Wait a minute, you want to know how to hack your innocent neighbour's wifi to sell viagra on the internet?! Go next door and tell 'em if they could move there wifi router towards your mum's room for you to do your thing.

  • Will the Nintendo DSi connect to my router if the security is WPA-PSK[TKIP] + WPA2-PSK[AES]?
(I checked my router and that's the security option)
The Router is a Netgear WNDR3300

If so, What would I choose on the DSi, WPA or WPA2?

  • This problem struck me a while ago, but now it's really getting on my nerves.

I have a linksys router (Motorola surfboard sb5101) that i used to have been able to connect to with my dsi and Wii, but it suddenly got a WPA-TKIP password and i don't know what it is! How can I find it? BTW, there isn't a reset button for some strange reason.
