    Would you enjoy being a mod on any website if you were offered to be one? And if you haven't been one yet?

    I have been admins on my own sites but i haven't been a mod, and i wouldn't enjoy it because i don't like to be under control by a certain someone (which is anyone controlling me), just on certain websites, i might enjoy being a mod. It depends on the overall genre of the website or section i would be modding. I could say for the most part, i would enjoy being a mod in most sections on this site.

    I am an administrator for one forum, but it is not that big and only certain people can join.

    Big forums like this... doubt it. No.

    I'd be more than happy to help out. As long as I was a regular member of the place I'd not mind at all

    Not sure about larger forums, but I am and have been a mod for decent-sized, active forums and enjoyed it. I love being able to help out and stop things out quickly. Some troll once started posting adult images all over the forum I mod and I was able to delete it quickly. I don't know what I would have done as normal member, because there are younger members there and they really don't need to see that kind of stuff. D:

    I usually just think of myself as another member...Unless I need to act "modly," I basically am with this group. I have to make sure I remain neutral when fights spur up and keep everyone in line, but I'm usually a pretty neutral person, so that isn't hard.

    I don't know how it'd be on such a big forum. I imagine there are a lot more people and problems to contend with and I can't picture how crazy it could be, but it might be interesting should I have the time for it. PC seems to run quite smoothly, so kudos to the staff! =p

    I've been administrator and moderator and s. mod so many times... I just don't care about it anymore. All of which were really small forums like invisionfree and proboards and stuff like that.

    The only one I owned that was .com was SS. But it's off the web now so ;;

    I used to be a mod for some small forum n a admin for an eFed.
    but i would not like to be a mod for this site cuz it's to big!

    I'm fine with any position, if I'm asked to help, I help mod/admin/op or just watch users.
    ya I run my own small forums and chat room, and I have fun doing it.

    Haha, I used to be an Assistant Admin back in the day. In fact, I was an AA back when we were called Praetors, if I recall correctly, except we changed because so few people could even spell it correctly, let alone had an idea what it meant. ;p

    I've also modded a few other sites, but my activity is usually woeful.

    "If duty called, I'd answer."

    I'd mod somewhere, but being an admin is troublesome, I've admined a few smaller forums and being in charge/high up really done my head in.

    Being staff varies from forum to forum. It's fun in some places and not in others. It depends on how much work there is and how large the forum is. Modding PC isn't the same as modding a small forum you made, that's for sure.

    Overall, the only places I'd take mod spots at are places I really enjoy staying at. Modding is work anywhere you go, really. Even on smaller forums, there will be times where it'll become stressful. If I don't really like it so much, I'm not going to want that extra stress. The good news is, in the places I don't really like, I won't be asked anyway. So it's not an issue. :D

    I was a mod on PTCO- before it broke. Wasn't too bothered, the site sucked anyway, the rules were awful and the staff above me were all really arrogant. ^^

    I wouldn't have the time or patience. If I were ever asked to be a mod (and whoever asked me would have to be pretty desperate as I'm not very active anywhere) I'd kindly decline.

    I don't think I'd enjoy it, too much responsibility.

    I'd never be able to make it as a mod or admin anywhere. Especially of PC - it's waaaaaay too big and scary, and too much of a responsibility. D:

    Oh...wait.

    Anyway, yeah. It's a lot of work and it can be REALLY stressful at times to the point where I've wanted to just throw my hands up and quit, but overall I really enjoy it.

    I've been Staff Administrator, Moderator, S-Moderator, Administrator in a few forums. None of them had a lot of people to Spam up the boards and cause stress.

    If it would be as big as PC, In general if I was a Mod in PC, I'd be happy. Although, it would be very stressful, but hey It's part of the job right? I''d be glad that the admins at least trust me enough to run the forum. xD

    I've been a mod at quite a few forums, and wanted to Mod at a few.
    I did infact enjoy the job while it lasted.

    I usually prefer being nothing on really small start-up forums because a lot of people tend to mod/admin everyone and that kills them half the time. @_@ But for medium to large forums, I usually can't stand not being in power somewhere. o_O; It drove me crazy to be a normal member at PC for part of last year because all I could do is report and I hated not being able to fix it. XD; I get that way at most forums. If something's in the wrong place and I can't do something about it but wait for a mod to get there... yeah. I get antsy. :x

    So yeah, I thrive on modding or admining large forums, but for smaller ones, I prefer to be a member. *total opposite of everyone here, lol*

    I'm a mod on another website~

    But it's be fun to be a mod, people appreciate you. XD;
