    very short question

    can ditto breed with a male for example a bayleef and the egg be a chikorita?

    Please help cuz im kinka new to pokemon so im not good at this whole breeding thing

    yes. you can breed ditto with the pokemon you want no matter if it male or female.
    except with latios and latias.
     
    This should be in Simple Questions....

    And yes, Ditto can breed with any Pokemon that can breed and the result will be that Pokemon.
