I started this thread so that members may exchange recepies and pictures of edible things that they have fixed.

Have you ever created an excellent dish? Like to concoct things that somehow turned out edible? Have an idea that you would like to give a test run. Post it here!

I'll start things off with a photograph & recepie for Peanut butter filled Onigiri.

Note: The darker ball is non-PB. It's spicy with a jalapeno core.

"Peanut Butter Filled Onigiri"

- Long Grain Enriched Rice
- Water
- Butter/Margarine
- Peanut Butter
- Confectionary Sugar
- Pure Cane Sugar

Materials:

- 2 Quart Cooking Pan
- Small bowl-like dish (about 2" high and 3 ½" wide)
- Plastic Wrap
- Bag Ties or String

Directions:

"The Rice"
- Measure 2 cups of water into cooking pan and bring to a boil.
- Add 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine.
- Stir in 1 cup of rice.
- Cover pan with a tight fitting lid.
- Lower heat and simmer 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
- Add ½ teaspoon of sugar.

"The Peanut Butter"
- Measure ½ cup of peanut butter into a bowl.
- Add ½ cup of confectionary sugar and stir until peanut butter is thick enough to work w/ your hands.
- Roll small balls of peanut butter.

"The Ball"
- Select a small bowl-like dish (about 2" high and 3 ½" wide).
- Cut pieces of plastic wrap about 12"x12" = to the # of Onigiri you plan to make.
- Place 12"x12" sheet of plastic wrap on the bowl.
- Place rice on the sheet over the bowl, making the sheet fall inward.
- Fill the bowl halfway.
- Use a finger or spoon to make a dip in the center of the rice.
- Place a peanut butter ball in the dip.
- Continue filling the bowl until full & the peanut butter ball is covered.
- Pull the plastic wrap outside the bowl together & tie it together with a bag tie or string.
- Place in refrigerator and let cool overnight.

When you wake up, it should be ready to unwrap and eat!
