    • Nice to meet you all!

    My names Hydawg (or Dan!) and I am from London in the UK.

    I first played Pokémon Red way way back when I was in secondary school, and at the age of 27 I bought myself a 3DS and a copy of Black and got sucked straight back into it. I do miss the original 151, and hopefully will get a few of my old favorites back, but the new set are certainly impressive!

    We all miss the original 151 but time goes on. How is Black? I might get it. I stopped at Soul Silver a while ago.

    Haha, you're certainly not the only veteran of the franchise lurking around here. My first Pokémon game was Blue version, but uh, I was still in elementary (primary?) school back then. For once I don't feel as old! Definitely a specific place in my heart for the original 151, but you come to accept the others in time.

    Tee hee hee, you're old! Not that funny, but it must be cool to be old and still be into Pokemon. I'm not that old, and I thought I was an old person still into Pokemon. XD; So Hydawg (or Dan!), how is your Black version going for you so far? Are you enjoying it? Did you get a Snivy and name is Smugleaf? THESE ARE THINGS I MUST KNOW!

    Escuse that. :P Just make sure you do all obligatory things like every new person. Read rules, ask questions etc, and then when you're done with that, have a fun time here!

    Also somehow get a Seedbby and name it Sydian. :P /shot

    Its a Hyena, my favourite animal. Someone doodled it for me when I said I was playing Pokemon again, they said that a Hyena pokemon would be a bit 'derpy', and that was the end result!

    Also yes I did get a Snivy as a starter! He was good, but sadly I didn't give him a custom name as I figured i'd replace him pretty soon (and did) which was a shame.

    Thank you all for the warm welcome! Really makes this place look good to have such a welcoming community! I am enjoying Black so far, and I'm doing well collecting my old favourite Pokemon from the olden days, just need a Syther and i'll be happy! It's certainly a hell of a lot more advanced, and when I first stumbled across a rotation battle I had no idea at all what I was doing, but it is a fun addition with lots of hidden depth.

    Anyway, you young whippersnappers, have a great weekend!

    Ah, I haven't quite gotten Red, but I got Blue and Yellow! My first pokemon game was Pokemon Yellow in fact. :3 I misssss the days where you can be a 10 year old and nonchalantly play casino games, and go into bars and stuff.

    Which reminds me! I've always wanted to build a bar...

    Well, they still have some of the original 151 pokemon in Black and White! What with White Forest, or Dream World, and so on. BTW I got a 3DS too; its black. :3 Well I chose black because my DSi was black, soooo yeah. For a visit around here, you can check out the Black and White board so you can discuss the games there. <3

    Anyways! Welcome to PC! I hope you have fun! (like I did with this welcome. :3) If you need help with anything, I'll be happy to help you out. ^^

You like Black and White I see so you'll most likely be heading over to the Black and White section if I guessed right XD. I only played Yellow back in the day; I never played Red version sadly.     • ANOTHER LONDONER! Woop! Apples and pears, ruby murray, Adam and Eve and all other sorts of Cockney slang I neither use nor want to use. I'm not actually a real Londoner, I just go to uni there... but I want to be, one day.

    In other words: welcome to PC. The games have changed a bit since the simple days of the late 90s, but this new generation is the closest thing to a 'reboot' you're going to get, so hopefully you'll enjoy it.
