The Reputation Clause

Heyaz, I was just wondering whether someone could explain the reputation thingy to me, because I've seen loads of people with various amounts of different coloured squares, and they confuse me...

They have a little message when I highlight them, so I'm wondering like, how many different ones there are, and how they change and such.

You gain reputation by making a post that somebody else likes, and lose it in the opposite manner. Read this FAQ for more information. ^^
