Hi there! Being very, VERY new to the forums, I decided I would make my voice heard. Here's some questions I've created for myself to help you know more about me, and some other facts and blurbs.
Questions and Answers
How big of a Pokemon fan am I?:
Huge. I've played every game, can name any Pokemon, heck, Pokemon inspired me to learn to read better when I was very young, so I could play the two original games.
Your favorite Gen?: Please don't kill me...but...3rd gen. I love how colorful and happy the game looks, and holding a GBA just feels like home, y'know?
Do I have any fandom nitpicks, or things you can't stand when others do?:
I HATE the overall mindset of a Gen-Wunner that says Gen 1 is "True Pokemon.". If you only like Gen 1, then you like a game, not the series. Series grow, they advance. I'm sorry if I offended you. I also hate the "Love this, hate this" attitude. Oh, you like Sonic? Geez, stop hating on Mario! Oh, you like the Xbox 360? What's wrong with the PS3? That. You get what I'm saying?
What's my opinion on shipping?
Ehhh. I do support ships, yes, but I don't normally tell which ships I support. It's kinda a guilty pleasure, you know? I have one main OTP, and other ships I just like.
Me and my Visual Boy Advance
I LOVE hacking. It's one of my favorite things to do with emulation! I can't script, but I love messing with maps and wild Pokemon data, and other crap.
Emulation is easy for me, providing for hours of endless entertainment. I want help creating an official Pokemon Ruby hack, but I don't know where to ask for that. I kinda want to start a whole group, and we'll help each other and make that hack quickly and efficiently.
So, yes, emulation and hacking is the first thing I'll think of when you say "Pokemon". Sometimes, however, I just want the feel of a game boy advance in my hands.
Fun Facts
I'm just gonna write as many little facts about me as I can.
*I play piano and viola
*I want to grow up to get a job in the creative area of videogame creation.
*My favorite foods are grilled cheese and mac and cheese. Cheese rules!
*Pikachu is definitely my "inner Pokemon". I love Pikachu to death, and have been it every PMD game.
*I like bird watching
*I am an artist
*I like writing
*I have two pet Guinea Pigs
*I have two pet dogs
*I like anime
*I love fantasy
*I love Studio Ghibli
*I love Doctor Who
*I think British Accents are awesome
*I don't really like American pop, but I've got a soft side for J and K-pop.
*I like MLP, but I am not an adult man. I'm a teen girl.
Thanks for reading all that! Feel free to say hi below, that's why I shoved this here. If there's anything else you want to know about me, just ask below, and I'll add it to my FAQ. If you think I should add anything else, or if I'm doing something wrong, I want to know! Thank you.

Hello ElectricPikachu and welcome!

I have to say, that's one long intro but at least we get to know loads about you in one go, and if you did join for hacks we do have the really popular Emulation & ROM Hacking (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=156) section where you will find anything and everything hack-related. There's places where you can ask questions, join hacking teams, download hacks to play or even create your own with all the useful resources available. While I'm not a hacker, it won't stop me from directing you there.

But also going by what you said, we have some other sections you might like: General Entertainment (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29), Video Games (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27), Chit Chat & Polls (http://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=23) as well as fanclubs for both My Little Pony (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=291372) and Doctor Who (http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=297882). So yeah, loads of sections worth checking out, and there's the Pokemon gaming sections too if you like discussing the Pokemon games. Are you looking forward to Pokemon X and Y? There's been loads of new info revealed following the demo played at the Pokemon Game Show, and the games are so great I want to play them almost like right now, but I will eventually.

Well, have loads of fun here, and if you have questions don't hesitate to contact Cirno or another staff member. Hope to see you around!

Oh my gosh, thanks for your warm welcome!

I felt like I was going to forget to write something, and that I'd be kicking myself over it later
because I know one welcome is allowed per person. So I kind of spazzed out and wrote it all. Plus, if you have the patience to read all of this, chances are I'll like you.

Thanks for all those links! I'll defiantly check them out. I'll probably feel right at home there.

I'm totally looking forward to X and Y. Fairy type did kinda rub me the wrong way, but Dragon was a bit over powered, and I'm sure it'll grow on me. Hordes seem fun. I've got my fingers crossed for a good evolution for all those starters. They're all so cute!

Thanks a lot! I'm sure to stay.
