This week, the cast soldiers on, despite Paul rubbing everyone the wrong way.
I didn't want to run Conway's gag into the ground by having him constantly show up everywhere. So I just used it very sparingly, just to establish the gag, and not have the episode get too chaotic. The scene where he magically butts into the group's conversation was one of my favorite scenes to write.
My focus for this episode was on Ash and Paul's relationship. From getting a little TOO into character to keeping track of the screwups during the rehearsal, I wanted to show Ash trying to keep the urge to keep his anger in check, and focusing on his own role.
The reason why Ash is with one of the theater's combat trainers in the training scene is because Brock was busy elsewhere.
The Fireside Tarina refers to is Pewter City's famed theater, the Fireside.
Next time, the group performs the show!
