This week, Diddy evolves in the heat of battle, only to learn a valuable lesson from an unlikely ally.
The major change in this episode was the starter reshuffle--since Ash has Chimchar to begin with in the remix, he would evolve to Monferno here, and then again to Infernape (gaining the power of Mega Evolution) down the road. This meant that I could rejigger the Grotle storyline on a different Pokemon and the episode would still work.
I sped up the battle and Demeter's demonstration to help the story flow better. Erin is Demeter's volunteer, since Ash doesn't have Gliscor in the remix.
Next time, the group gains a friendly rival in a performer of Hearthome!
