Darn this game is fun.
Went onwards to Violet City now...
Youngster Joey - level 4 Rattata, instantly offered to give me his phone number when defeated. Neat.
2nd trainer - level 2 Pidgey, level 4 Rattata.
3rd (Bug Catcher) - Two Catepie level 3.
Mum calls soon after you walk past if one hasn't talked to her before leaving the town. XD Offers to save money, just like in GSC.
In the trainer-prespective art for Dark cave, I'm pretty sure I saw the tail of a Dunsparce to the left. You can heard background noises of water splashing, I swear. (Also when you approach it - sounds different to the wave by the sea when you go to the shore). O_O You can get an item, and Rock Smash blocks the rest of the way. Geodude seems WAY more common than Zubat here. O_O Caught me a Zubat as I found one, adding to my Geodude and Spinarak. (And Chikorita for the heck fo it). You can get phone calls in caves.
Back outside - Pokeball item, I believe, Apricorn tree, next to the same fat guy in GSC who talks about being sleepy. Another item where it was in GSC.
Bug Catcher Wade - Three Catepie level 2, Weedle level 3. Also gave his phone number to me.
So basically - everyone has the same levels as in GSC thus far.
Found a Bellsprout, yo. Caught it, to see if I could trade it for that Onix like in GSC.
Kotone appeared upon entering Violet City (the gatehouse), gave me battle recorder. That's 4-5 times she has stalked me now. D=
Went and traded Bellsprout for the Onix in Violet City- so that's the same as well as GSC. Hurrah for knowledge-get! Came with an item as well.
Earl, the crazy teacher is back! =D Whole random spin-around-and-run routine returns. No change in music though...
Interestingly tree one has to cut in violet City to get an item is now replaced by a Rock Smash rock. (Yes I remember too much about the games).
Can't go inside the gym until Sprout Tower.
I went and got myself Rock Smash, and made Sudowoodo tree dance. That's enough for this post, methinks... next Unown ruins, and Spout Tower. (!)
