Mood: I'm 22 now!!!
Another year in the books now, and I'm happy to say it was a pretty quiet one this year. I've come to the conclusion that the older I've gotten, the less I've actually cared for big extravagant things, but rather just the interactions with the ones that I hold close to my heart. Yes I understand that may come as a little bit corny or whatever, but that's the place I'm currently in right now.

Anyways, this year my girlriend, her family, and I ended up going to see Annie on stage at a pretty good theatre. I actually had never had any real memory of what Annie was about - I had never seen the movies and I only knew the song "It's A Hard Knock Life" - so it really was a treat for me. I've always been a big fan of theatre in theatre productions in general - yes I was one of those nerdy drama dweebs in high school - so the fact that they went out of their way to bring me to a production was a very fun treat to say the least.

However, something dramatic did happen during the production. About three seats to my left, a large individual started sweating perfusely and long story short showed symptoms of a heart attack. I am CPR certified, but I absolutely panicked and shut down in the moment with everything. Thankfully, for the love of god, there was a nurse and doctor right near him who jumped on the scene before I could bat an eyelash, but it was truly a scary moment all of a sudden. To think you did all that training and then to actually havea situation present itself...kindove sucked in all honesty.

But overall, I had a very nice night. I had a huge banquet dinner with my girlfriend's family, and ended up going out with my family the next night. Forgot to mention that my brother actually forgot to wish me a happy birthday which did suck but I'm over it now. Anyways, what about you guys?
