This week, Ash uses both the power of his Pokemon and the power of his Swanna Song to calm the guardian Dragonite.
The big change in this episode (besides replacing Team Rocket with Kamon) was Ash using the Swanna Song to calm the Dragonite. Originally, the Dragonite snapped out of it on its own, but I felt this was a little anticlimatic, especially since I set up the Swanna Song in the previous episodes as a way to bring the guardian Dragonite out of the berserk rage. That being said, I did keep the original battle in, but put the Swanna Song at the end, as a sort of last ditch move.
Now that Kamon has his closure, up next is Ash getting his final Badge. Then Team Rocket will get their send off, Misty earns her final Pokethlon medal, and then we have the Johto League. At our current pace, Moonlight Silver is set to end and Shine Diamond will begin towards the end of January.
