I'm not crying! You are!

TODAY, I feel like my 2016 resolution of "improving myself" is nearby completion.

I wasn't in a rush in getting a full-time job that pays more, but today I was just offered one. Of course, I took it!

Quite honestly, things right now at my current job as supervisor are not going well. I don't want to go much into detail. However, it's really bad timing because I was just offered a higher supervisory position that requires me to do a number of certifications in order to actually perform it. I was supposed to start said promotion next month, but now that I was offered this job that pays a hell lot more, and it includes benefits, I might as well turn down the promotion and give it to someone else.

There has been a lot of firings, random promotions, and we just lost our store manager due to resignation.

So, back to the topic of my new job...again, it's a typical 9-5 job with benefits included (current job has no benefits). I'll be doing whiz kid IT stuff at a bank. What's sad about it is that Westchase will no longer be my "hangout" spot, as I'll be working a little more south now (Missouri City, exactly). That's the only downside. Upsides include cutting my commute to Galveston in half (30 min now), flexible scheduling, as well as OMG MORE PAY which means I get to finally go for a better place.

Yay I'm super stoked! I start in two weeks :)
