This week, the group's rescue mission goes from bad to worse, as J keeps finding them at every turn!
Since Ash used his Swanna Song at the pivotal point of last time, thus is how J could snatch Amira. She is taking advantage of Ash's Swanna Song induced exhaustion to take Amira. Diddy's tunnel is therefore long enough to allow Ash to completely recover, setting up for him to use it again when J finds him aboard her ship.
I wanted Tarina to have a role in helping Brock evacuate the Pokemon, so she gets to help Dawn evacuate the little Pokemon.
Rather than J rough up Ash with her team like in the original, I felt it would be more effective if she just simply dropped Ash out of the ship--since she is well aware that Ash can use the Swanna Song, and doesn't want the ship damaged. Ash still uses his Swanna Song to alert Lunick and the group--this is how Lunick captures a Staraptor to save Ash.
Next time, the group and the Rangers confront the one that hired J for Amira's fate!
