  • There's a Pokemon that I wish they never created: Spiritomb. The Ghost/Dark Pokemon is perhaps the ultimate Pokemon (in my eyes, anyway).

Its types cancel out any weaknesses it may have. Plus in the hands of Cynthia, the Sinnoh League Champ, it's DEADLY!! Her Spiritomb took out 3 of my Pokemon when I faced off with her! And when I nearly defeated that thing, she switched it out and knocked out my current Pokemon! In the end, I managed to make her release that thing as her remaining Pokemon and I just let her have it with my strongest Pokemon attack I had left!

That's one reason I'm not a fan of Spiritomb. The other reason I'm not a fan is how you catch it!

During the game once you get to Route 209, you'll see a broken stone tower and if you got the Odd Keystone from that Karate dude on Route 208, you put that thing in there and it becomes the Hallowed Tower. Now the next part to make that stupid Ghost come out is to go underground and meet 32 people.

And that's where my problem came up. I don't know anybody in my neighborhood who owns any of the new Pokemon games. Heck, I'm the only person who plays Pokemon in my neighborhood!!! I was originally thinking that you have to meet 32 DIFFERENT people underground. Like, where am I going to find 32 different players? Or maybe 16 people if they have both Diamond and Pearl.

But thanks to a DS Phat I bought on Ebay as a spare DS and some detective work on a Pokemon info site, I discovered how to meet 32 people underground easily. I'm not sure if any of you know this trick already. I only learned this a few nights ago.

If you and a person go underground, greet each other and then the two of you both enter you or your friend's secret base and greet each other in there, it counts as you meeting a new person. What that means is everything resets because you're in a new area. So, once your friend enters the base, it's a new person in that area. Then, you can greet each other again and it will count as you meeting a new person. So, you can easily meet the 32 people requirement to get Spiritomb to come out and you can catch it.

Now that I got that thing, I'm happy!

Dang, that Pokemon is hard. Oh great...I probably have to deal with this right. Oh man...I don't think I will need that Pokemon. It is just as bad as getting Abra. I can't catch Abra! Grrr! But I am glad you got the Pokemon. Great job!

I always thought it was easy to beat it. But that's because I always traded over my Kangaskhan which had the Scrappy ability. So, Spiritomb could only use Dark type moves on me, and I could has any on it.
