NO! I'm just kidding. Please don't.
What this blog entry is really about is when people request to have their topics closed. I'm finding it a little ridiculous on how far this trend has managed to go. Unless my memory serves me wrong, when I first joined, no one ever asked to have their own topics closed. What's the point? I see it often happens when after a person has requested help and ends up being helped. But why close it? There's is no reason for it to be closed. What if someone else with the exact same problem came along but didn't understand part of the method for solving whatever the problem was or had additional problems? Why close it?
Stop telling moderators how to use their powers. God.
The funny thing is? I hated having a high number of my threads closed. It's probably just me being a perfectionist but I despised all moderators and upper staff who closed my topics because it made me feel sad. ;-; It's as if times have changed. Everyone seems to want to have a high amount of closed threads. o.o;
I actually hate posting my blog entries on PC rants because I know nothing good will come out of them but after spending about 5 minutes thinking and typing, I don't see it being really worth it to simple destroy all of my thoughts with a click of a button.
