PokeCommunity. A place where I could discover, dedicate and delve into something while meeting amazing people along the way. Graphics and Photography is where I poured my time into, and it's where I started carving my story and began to leave my mark on the community. Over 4 years later, I was still solely dedicated to that one forum. Dedicated to expanding my own abilities and in trying to help others as well.
But PC was more than just a place for me to practise a hobby: it's home to some seriously amazing people. I had thought of making a list of my friends and acquaintances here, but honestly, everybody I've ever spoken to is not only worthy of making the list, but worthy of being called a friend. I was never really massively open to meeting and getting close to individuals, but you all found your own way at breaking down the walls and making my time here just that bit better. So to anyone I spoke to regularly, anyone I spoke to just once: thank you.
If it wasn't clear yet, I'm leaving PC. Really? Yes. Forever? I can't know. While I feel like this is the end right now, I will always have the prospect of returning to all you wonderful people at some point in the future. I'm leaving because I feel my time is up. It's time for me to move on, and move forward.
"Goodbye is not the end" and the only thing that is changing is that I won't be signing in any more. I believe friendship has immense capabilities to remain in tact despite distance or tension.
This is the final moment, the moment of truth. For the moment it's goodbye. But the future holds many more moments, all with the ability to hold a 'hello'.
