NaNoWriMo Time Again

And I am doing okay. Not as great as last year, sadly. I did get off to a pretty bad start -- instead of writing, I watched Disney movies with my sister instead. She's also doing NaNoWriMo, so it was mutual slacking off. :p I did have a wonderful day yesterday (3k!) but today's been slow as well.

The story's also slow to begin with. Nothing terribly interesting has happened yet, and this makes me sad. All the good stuff seems so, so far away... I'm debating skipping around and returning for the small things later. I usually always go in order, just in case something in the middle changes the ending, but in this case, I doubt it'll be an issue.

...I think.

Really, I just have to see how it turns out.

Sadly, my wordcount on the NaNoWriMo site is all messed up now. I just couldn't manage to get on to update it last night. :/ Ah, well.

You're having word count update issues? I haven't had any problems when I update.

My tactic for writing is pretty much the same as last year. If I got an idea for a part of the story, I go and write it. Beginning, middle or end, if I got an idea that has to be written down, I have to do it.

My story seems to be pretty slow too, but I'm just starting to get into it now.

The only problem I've had with the site is simple not-loadingness.

The problem is actually with my Internet, not with the site itself. Although it does load a bit slowly. :p
