This week, the gang returns to Jubilife City, where they are sent on a wild stamp rally to win Poketches!
This episode was massively rewritten to account to account for Team Rocket being taken out. With Team Rocket gone, that also meant I could also take out Landis and his dad, since their story no longer made sense with Team Rocket being cut.
My new storyline involved how you get the Poketch in the games--finding clowns and answering their questions. I expanded on this by expanding the number of clowns the group needed to find from three to seven (creating a rainbow) I also combed Bulbapedia for question ideas, so all the answers are true both in the real world and in universe.
Most of the brands the gang checks are made up for the story, but I did parody Apple (as Leppa) and Amazon (as Orinoco) as possible Poketch carriers
The arcade scene serves as foreshadowing for the Dance portion of the contest next time--the song Dawn picks is the same one Kori will dance to in the contest.
Next time, the Jubilife Contest gets underway, with Galactic Admin Mars and Jupiter formally introduced.
