This week, Ash gives Misty and Brock some insight into his rivalry with Gary, and ends up receiving his own team of cheerleaders ahead of his match with Gary.
I decided to split the episode in half and move the start of the match itself into its own episode, as all the worldbuilding, plus Misty and Brock having a reason to be at the League in their own events made this an episode on its own.
Ash is a LOT more computer literate in the remix than in the real show (Taran, his dad, taught him well at a young age), although Brock acknowledges that Ash is quite the computer whiz with enough caffiene (for the curious, Verde Power=Vault, Surge, or other high powered citrus soda in the Pokeworld--not to be confused with Oran Power, the most popular orange soda brand.) His error message was because he tried to access the video program while its servers for saving videos to the cloud was under maintenance.
The match between Ash and Gary itself won't have any cutaways to what the others are doing (even though Misty is competing in the Pokethlon), so we can focus on the match itself.
Next time, Ash and Gary kick off their epic match!
