This week, Ash and co. reunite with Ritchie and Sparky, make a few new friends, all unaware they are being watched by a familiar foe. Most importantly, Ash learns to sing the Swanna Song for himself thanks to his bond with Tintri and Helios.
I plan to expand on the Indigo Conference and build up Ash and Ritchie a little more when we get to Lightning Yellow, so it may seem weird to have them already know each other.
The mother and child Lugia actually get names in the remix--Asimona and Agrios are both Greek words for "silver", in honor of Lugia's Greek origins.
Luka originally was a minor character in the Whirl Cup arc, but since that went on the cutting room floor, I chose to have her be one of Oliver's friends.
In the remix, Misty and Brock already have scuba certification, so only Ash needs to be trained in order to see Asimona and Agrios up close..but little do they know their expedition is about to take a terrifying turn!
