Underground Tuesdays is a series in the Daily Bloggity that looks at bands that aren't that popular and showcases their music. Continue reading to read my thoughts on the album or EP. This will be a weekly series in the Daily Bloggity that will appear every Tuesday at 5PM ET.

Power Happy by Con Bro Chill

There is a wide variety of music out there today with specific niches to them: you've got the hip hop group Insane Clown Posse with their tattoed faces, the rock band Devo with their red metal hats, and then...you've got these guys. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Con Bro Chill is a quartet of ex-lacrosse players comprised of front man/keytar specialist Con, lead singer Sam, and dance-blast-duo Steve and Ty, whose main mission is to "to create party synergy w/ every single member of planet globes." Yeah...they're that serious. To give a better background of what they sound like, they have "taken elements of the high energy pop of LMFAO, the attitude of party-god Andrew W.K., the flair and melodic grandiosity of Freddy Mercury, whilst sprinkling in the best dance music of all eras and cultures (but especially the 80′s lets face it) to create their own brand of neon dance pop." Although their music is great, it's their music videos that really make the band special, as they consist of over-the-top antics involving an array of neon colors and awesome dance numbers. Today we'll be looking at some of their outrageous party music from their two EP's: We Came To Party and Come To My Party.

Daily Music - "Dance Thief" by Con Bro Chill
    Spoiler:
To be perfecty honest, it's impossible to pick a favorite song out of their two EP's. All of their songs are house music that makes you want to groove to the rhythm and swing your hips to the beat. But as I said earlier, it's their music videos that really define them. They know full well that they're not a serious band, and it clearly shows in their videos, dressing up in neon costumes, bouncing in huge inflatable balloons, rollerblading with bedazzled sports cups (like in the picture above), bouncing on trampolines, and even becoming a bunch of superheros to save the day from aliens stealing the world's groove (yeah, that happened). Either way though, it's a band that just wants to have fun and share that fun with the world, which is something that should be applauded.

Daily Comic - "Dark Souls 2" by Tim Buckley of Ctrl+Alt+Del
    Spoiler:
However if I did have to attempt to pick a favorite song from Con Bro Chill, I would have to say it's a three-way tie between Power Happy, Dance Thief, and Partied Out. The problem with picking one single song is that they all have the same effect on me, which is making me smile like a dumbass. These guys know how to live life to the fullest and it clearly shows in their music and their Ok GO-esque videos. It's just...seriously, just check out their music. You're not going to get a good sense of what I'm talking about until you watch at least one video. But the thing about Con Bro Chill is that once you watch one of them, you're going to want to watch all of them. Which that will just mean you are going to have a hell of a time for 30 minutes.

    Spoiler:
Con Bro Chill's We Came To Party EP is free on their website and Come To My Party EP is available on iTunes for $4.99. They've also just wrapped up their tour.
