(Day's 24-32 were mostly about work..because I haven't really had a day off since Day 23. So I wanted to explain what work is really like for me.)

    January 24 - February 1

    Welcome to…work!

Come with me, as we look into the eyes of my job. Because that's what this compilation is all about, my job.

As you may know, I work at a tech shop where we specialize in computers, as well as some other technology & office stuff. I work at the computer repair department, so my main direction is the so-called "bat-cave" where I tackle on the work orders that needed to get done by the end of the day. I work afternoons most if not all the time. With a morning shift thrown in there once or twice a month. I get Fridays and Sundays off, which is pretty sweet.

As I walk into the shop, I am greeted by the Cashier. She is always hard at work and she is always bloating about how many warranty plans she has sold the past several days. It's really not news for me, because I know she gets the most plans by the end of the day. She also likes to bloat the fact that she used to teach Geometry in high school. Kinda wish she was my tutor when I was taking calculus in uni.

Then I am greeted by the Inventory Specialist. He's a cool dude, a year younger than me. He already has a wife and two kids. Kinda jealous he's got a 9-5/M-F shift with weekends off. I really want that schedule. But then again, I have no problem working afternoons. Although he always has a habit of leaving work equipment at the customers' reach.

I work with three different co-workers from three different sections of the store. You got Gangsta Receiver who always has his phone on full blast with rap music (mostly Snoop Dogg or whatever he calls himself now). Then a former nurse assistant who works in the Printing section of the store. She keeps saying she wants to leave for a better job in Houston, but she never does. Then there's also Superstar, who goes to Los Angeles once a month in hopes of landing a gig somewhere.

Those are just ones I see often but I don't interact with. You got Dirtkicker, my bestie. She and I entered around the same time, and we work with each other all the time. We even play Overwatch together on our days off. We both main D.Va. Then the afternoon cashier, Rawrcat. She has an obsession with cats and she sends me cat pics all the time via text message. Finally, Fresh Meat…the newest on the block. He's a high school senior with a body of a 25 year old. I was assigned to train the guy and let me tell ya…I had fun bossing him around.

Like I said, I have three managers who oversee the shop. Manager 1 is pretty much the coolest manager of the three. She is a witch who wishes she was a witch. She literally has magic, and with that she can fix anything. Literally anything. Also, she's a hardcore gamer. She and her husband. How does she manage to make time for games? I can barely do one game while I deal with the boyfriend and his mom and other stuff with life. Then, there's Manager 2. The General Manager. For some reason his office never has the light on because the bright, fluorescent lights give him migraines all the time. I call his office the batcave. Finally, you got Manager 3, the newest Manager who transferred from another shop. She was just recently married and is becoming a grandmother soon. All she cares about is numbers in sales, but not to worry as those numbers are always satisfying to her.

So, there ya have it. A glimpse of life at work. We're a crazy bunch, and we always have a good time, no matter how crazy the clientele gets. The shenanigans I go through at work!
