    • Lately I heard the news, that 2 new Pokémon games will be launched at November this year. They are Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Being truly started playing Pokémon from Hoenn era, I'm excited seeing that Ruby and Sapphire will be back, and it's hard to be believed! But given that I see the different picture arts of Groudon and Kyogre (as noticed in several Pokémon news site), this brings me some questions to be asked, and my opinions too. Please note that these opinions here are to be taken with the grain of salt.

    1. Will these games have similar story as original Ruby and Sapphire, or will they have several twists in it?
    I remember when HeartGold and SoulSilver have almost similar story with Gold and Silver, but they added the twist of Crystal plotlines which makes them rich in content. I'm not sure how these games will work, but if they have the twists a la Emerald (like when Rayquaza comes to calm the two Legendary Pokemon), there might be some plot holes if for example, Team Magma summoned Groudon, but Team Aqua doesn't summon the other one, except if Kyogre senses the Blue Orb signal and decides to rush on Groudon. Or maybe when the player have to face Groudon/Kyogre in the Mega Evolution form first like in Black 2 and White 2 (and unable to catch them at first), and later able to catch one in their normal forms after the story ends? I'm sure these 2 remakes will have interesting twists that playing it will never be the same as in Ruby and Sapphire.

    2. More Mega Evolutions?
    When several hackers and then Smogon revealed Mega Latios and Mega Latias, I thought that it might be linked to Ruby and Sapphire in some certain way, because their coding are not released in X or Y as of yet, and I thought that they can't be from the Mystery Gift event for some reason, and it has to do with Hoenn. Based on my prediction, they might be prepared for these 2 remakes after all. Oh, and not to forget the different designs of Groudon and Kyogre in the box art earlier, I suspect that they might be their Mega Evolution forms as well. Not just that, we might see familiar Mega Evolutions like Mega Absol or Mega Gardevoir, as well.

    3. Missing Items?
    We noticed that several of the Berries and most of the elemental gems are missing in X and Y, and Pokébank won't allow the item transfer, obviously. Some are speculating that these items might possibly available on future games. I'm sure all of the Berries will return in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but I'm not sure how will the players get another elemental gems besides of Normal Gem in X and Y. Only time will tell if they'll have one.

    4. Expanded Pokedex, again?
    In HeartGold and SoulSilver, Johto region's Pokedex was surprisingly expanded from 251 to 256, including several of the 4th Gen Pokemon which are tied with the Johto Pokemon. Even though from my prediction, Hoenn Dex expansion chances might be 50/50, I'll give it a shot that Roselia's families and Gallade will make it to the new dex, and also the aforementioned Mega evolutions of earlier Pokémon mentioned.

    Please note that these statements are still not confirmed yet, but I'm sure whether these statements come true or not, we all can be excited that one of the most favorite Generation of Pokémon will come once again.

    I'm sure we all are excited about Hoenn comeback too, aren't we?
