Shine Diamond returns Saturday with "Team Shocker!" where Dawn loses the Solaceon Contest in spectacular fashion and re-thinks becoming a coordinator. But the more I thought about it, I thought "What if we didn't see the Contest itself, but instead focus on Dawn dealing with her sadness, anger and frustration (complete with an inspiring performance from Ash, Brock, and the other coordinators encouraging Dawn not to give up)
I feel it would be more powerful if we shifted the episode to focus on the aftermath of yet another loss and Dawn's feelings rather than focus on the loss itself.
