This episode didn't really have very much to change, except for Ash's tweaked team (as Chikorita was moved to Lyra and Bulbasaur was taken off to free up space for his team to mirror what I used in HG/SS--this is why Marie says that Sudowoodo mimicked the local Grass Pokemon--in the original, she says it mimicked Ash's Chikorita.)
I did keep Brock's licking scene from the original--that was just too funny to take out. I did, however, have a reason for him to do it in the remix--since licking Growlithes calm humans, why not do the same thing on the Sudowoodo? This set up an opportunity for Misty to put a crack in the fourth wall--you, the readers, are the "audience" she is asking!
If you missed Brock's archery action, he will get yet another opportunity to shoot down Team Rocket's balloon next time, plus do some stage archery in his second Lore Stage.
