Shine Diamond episode 3--The Afterpost

This week, Ash catches a Starly, and then uses her in battle against his first Shinou rival, Paul.

The teams were dramatically shaken up in the remix. Ash does not have Aipom in the remix (which in turn meant that his storyline could be cut), and Brock has a lot more Pokemon with him in the remix (including the Pokemon that replaces both Bonsly and Happini in the remix. At this stage, Brock does not know that this Pokemon has come with him to Shinou. This will be one running gag until I finally reveal who this Pokemon is later on.)

As to who this Pokemon is, she made her debut during the remix of "The Apple Corp". in Moonlight Silver, but was not mentioned by name. Here, you'll actually learn her name (and that in the remix timeline, this is technically her second adventure with Brock, since she does go with him to Houen.

Since Ash no longer has Aipom in the remix, I was able to work around this by having Brock lend him one of his Pokemon.

Currently, the gang's teams look like this:

--Estrella the Starly (another running gag for this remix is his constant mispronunciation of her name--eventually Dawn joins in correcting him!)
