My First Published Fanfiction!

Set in a world where evolution took a slightly different path, former criminal Wes tries to atone for his sins by freeing the very pokémon he has condemned. All the while, he struggles to avoid the target painted on his back by a bloodthirsty criminal organization and continues the search for his missing father. His only allies are a sharp-eyed girl, a gym leader, some rebellious kids and his pokémon.

In this story, my goal is to explore what Shadow Pokemon are and to build on them. I also want to give Wes and Rui more character since they didn't have much in the game. This means personality, history, motivations, and more. Similarly, there are many side characters (including antagonists) that I wanted to see more of in the game that were not given much screen time or importance and I aim to develop them in the game's stead.
