Day 29 - Favorite/Least Favorite English Dub

Yeah, so any fan of Cardcaptor Sakura hates this show with a passion. I will now go through on a few things that made this suck so bad. First, they tried to make Syaoran the lead character. This caused the series to start at episode 8 of CCS, and skipping a lot of the early card catching, including Sakura opening the book of Clow. Second, all hints at any romance were removed. The sand episode (Sakura and Syaoran almost kiss) was used instead to show Sakura's becoming a cardcaptor. Third, personalities. Sakura's a valley girl, same on TomoyoMadison, and Syaoran's a brat, along with various other stereotypes. Yeah...CCS even got a site dedicated to all its editing, and scene deletion...

This must have been in the US only, because I definitely remember watching the first episodes when it was first broadcast here.
I've since re-watched the original Japanese version btw, it's still definitely a lot better.

Good thing the dub in our country follows the Japanese version. |D
